Coping/Linking Units from Other Teachers

2. Click on the "Lessons" drop-down and select "Units".

3. Using the "From" drop-down menu, select the teacher you wish to copy from. If you wish to add a teacher, click the "Add Teacher" button and enter their email and Teacher Key.

4. Select the year and class you wish to copy the unit from using the drop-down menus. You'll see the units appear on the left side of the screen.

5. Click on a unit to select that for copying. Click the "All Items" button below the drop-down menus to adjust which elements of the unit to copy (Lessons/Standards/Assignments/Assessments).
6. On the right side of the screen, select the class or bank you wish to copy into.
7. Choose if you want the unit (and lessons) copied after all existing lessons (AFTER) or starting on a specific date (INSERT). If using the INSERT option, select a date to insert the unit.
8. Click "Copy Unit" or "Link Unit".
Copy - The unit and lessons will be copied into your plans. Changes made to these items will not affect the source unit/lessons.
Link - The unit and lessons will be linked in your plans. Changes made to these items WILL affect the source unit/lessons if the teacher has allowed editing for those on their "Sharing Options" page using the "Collaborate - Individual Teachers" option. This option will only appear if teachers have shared with you using the "Collaborate - Individual Teachers" section of the Sharing Options page.
Please note that you can also drag and drop a unit from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen. This will quickly copy the selected unit and its lessons.
