How to connect to an Administrator School Year

To connect to a school year created by a school or district administrator, you will need to ADD a new school year to your plans. You will be able copy all of your current plans over to the new year, so nothing will be lost, even if you have already started to create lessons in the current year. Once you have added a new school year that is connected to the administrator year, you can then delete the current "unconnected" school year from your account.

To connect to an administrator school year:
  1. From the Planbook Bar, select School Years.


  2. Click the Add Year (+) icon in top-right menu.


  3. Select the school year provided by your school or district, and click Continue.


  4. If desired, adjust the School Year Name provided by your school or district.


  5. If desired, adjust the School Year Dates provided by your school or district.


  6. Select a default Lesson Layout for the school year.


  7. Select the classes to copy from the current school year to the new school year.


  8. Click the Continue button.


  9. Select the information to copy from the current school year to the new school year.


  10. Click the Add School Year button to create the new school year.
