Anchor navigation bar at the top
When working at the bottom of the page, after having added lengthy lessons during the first part of the day, I continuously have to scroll back up to the top to change to the next week. It would be helpful if the navigation/header bar was either anchored at the top of the screen at all times or if there was a duplicate toolbar at the bottom of the page.

Change background color of class
While the coloured headings are helpful, it would be great to change the full background colour of the class block as well. I am a very visual person and I like seeing the full separation of each class. This is a feature of another online planbook that I used to use and it was great to have.

Background color for lesson sections
Allow different background colors instead of changing font color for different sections; I can't see it that way

Allow public and private events

Default font per class
I LOVE the idea of choosing fonts/colors/sizes for texts on the lesson plans. Is there a way to set a default PER class, so we don't have to spend the extra time highlighting and changing EVERY class, every day?? :) Thanks!!

copy certain lessons to the new year
I would like to be able to go to last years lesson plans and have a button so that I can copy and paste that lesson to a specific date in the new year. As of today, all I can do is ,go to last years lesson, copy and go to the new year and paste it on the date that I need it. I want to start fresh each year, but would like to have this option available. I don't want to duplicate last year's lesson schedule onto the new year.
26 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Color change as date passes
I wish that a day that has passed would be paler colors or grey version so that when I glance at my plans I can easily see what I need for today in the bright regular colors. The past days could still show but not look exactly the same as current and future days.
26 votesTo make it easier for you to distinguish between prior and future days in your plans, you can now reduce the brightness of prior days!
To change the display of prior days in your plans, click "User Settings" > "Display Settings" > "General", and select "Reduce Brightness of Past Days".

Share entire day or week of lessons
When our 4th grade plans together, we want 1 button sharing for the week's worth of plans. Right now you have to import each class. When we have 12 subjects a day (including recess/ lunch/ etc.), that is a lot of time!
24 votesWe have added support for class collaboration, to allow multiple teachers to share lessons for a class, so no need to import lessons. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know. Thanks!

Ability to color code units
I'm very visual (and sometimes I break my units up and come back to a few standards from a previous unit). It would be nice if we could color code the unit when it is listed at the top of the lesson, instead of them all showing up highlighted in blue. It would give a good visual as to how many days you have left allotted for that topic.
24 votesTo help you more easily distinguish between different units within a class, you can now select a unique color for each unit!
To select a color for a unit, go to your Units page, edit the unit, and click the "Pick Color" icon.
