The new mobile app is excellent and a definite upgrade from the old one. As someone who teaches from an iPad, so I use the mobile app, it's very frustrating to not be able to track attendance within the application itself.2 votes
Good news! Student Attendance Tracking is now available on the Planbook Mobile app! We hope this helps, any questions please let us know.
My weekly teaching schedule is quite fluid, and often I will have classes that get moved to day that is not normally a scheduled class day. It would be great it Planbook had to flexibility to allow moving individual classes to days when the class is not normally scheduled.4 votes
To move a class to a non-class day, you can use the Add menu to “Add Extra Lesson”. This will allow you to create a new lesson for your class on any day you need. There is no limit to the number of extra lessons you can add for a class, and is absolutely fine to have more than one lesson for a class on a single day. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know.

Good news! The iOS font size feature has been added to our new Planbook Mobile app! Hope that helps, any questions please let us know. Thanks!
It is a major pain to print your plans out of List View when you want to just print off a single unit. Currently you can select the course and the unit you want to view, which is fantastic. However, it is often quicker for me to take two screenshots than to try and get the dates correct. That's kind of dumb. For instance, if my unit is longer than what my screen will display and I click print before I remember that I need to write down the start and end dates. I can no longer scroll down to see where the end date is for my unit. I just want to print the entire unit (as I assume any teacher would want to do). The date selection box defaults to the beginning and end of the school year. We are unlikely to be printing all that. If I have selected a unit to view then the date selection boxes should automatically populate with the dates I need to print what I am viewing. It's a basic feature that would save us a lot of time.

Create an option to archive old content and classes1 vote
All prior classes and lessons are automatically saved in your account. Each year, we recommend that you use the “Add Year” process to create a new school year, and this ensures that all of your prior years retain their content. Hope that helps, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
I would like to be able to look at peoples plans without downloading them into my plans. It would be nicer to have access to peoples stuff and pick and choose what I like to download for myself using the basic copy and paste that is in the drop down menu in every lesson. To be able to just click into their Planbook year like I do with my previous years.1 vote

My coteacher and I found it extremely difficult and time consuming to make sure that we could both view AND edit all of our classes. Coteaching is very common now and this should not be so difficult!!!! We finally figured it out but it was NOT easy!
We want to both be able to to edit math (and every other subject). The replica/view/etc process was exhausting.3 votes
Good news, we have added Lesson Linking to Planbook! Rather than copying lessons from a lesson bank or between classes, you can now create a LINK to the source lesson. This means that any changes you make will automatically show in ALL places where the lesson in linked! To learn more, visit our knowledge base at https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1947022-the-copy-screen
Lesson Linking, when combined with Lesson Banks, provides teachers and schools with a powerful curriculum management tool. Teachers can collaborate on the development of curriculum (classes, units, lessons), store the curriculum in lesson banks, and set permissions for who can view or edit the banks.
Why is limit for 10 votes? Several ideas are great....it takes time to revisit. others tell me thought b/c too long for them to access, etc1 vote
The 10 vote limit helps to encourage teachers to choose the items most valuable to them and helps us prioritize adding those features. You may remove votes from any item you’ve previously voted on to get those votes back.
I have been using planbook.com for a number of years and really enjoy it. But I think its time for a different log in page. I would like to see something new, the teacher pointing at a student is out dated. What do you think? I don't want that to sound sarcastic but just something new.8 votes
Agreed! Definitely time to update the welcome page!
I want to be able to make a baseline year that has all of my units and lessons exactly as they are in my pacing guides. It's not working for me to copy from previous years because I make too many changes that I don't want to keep for the next year. I went back to a year before I started using planbook to create this myself, but it's a challenge since the calendar defaults to the current year. If the baseline could exist without being tied to a particular year, that would be helpful.4 votes
I need the default font size to be bigger as I am typing. Ideally, it would be the style and size the display will be. Even wearing my contacts and my readers, the default size 10 Arial is too small. I have to make it bigger every time. I have been using Planbook since 2015, and this is my biggest pet peeve!2 votes
Good news! You can now change your default font size for each lesson section. To learn more: https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1877734-how-to-adjust-the-font-for-lessons
Would it be possible to add some sort of visual aid (icon) to a lesson that has been extended (and the extended lesson) so that we can differentiate between them and a normal lesson1 vote

When you extend a lesson, this will now automatically create a LINK to the initial source lesson. You will see that this is a link when you hover over the lesson, as an “LL” will appear.
When in the Lesson Bank, it would be great to be able to expand a single lesson when you select the "+" sign in stead of clicking it and all lessons in the bank expand. This way we can expand only those we want to open. When navigating to the lessons at the bottom of the bank, to make adjustments to, after you select the "+" it automatically takes you to the top lesson in the bank.

When I open my browser and go to planbook.com, the login button if often hidden on the right hand side of the window. Even the horizontal scroll bar will not reveal the button. I have to resize the window in order to get to the login button.3 votes

I really wish that there was spell check when you are typing in your lessons.5 votes
All major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari) now provide spell check capabilities as part of their standard functions! We recommend double-checking your browser settings to ensure Spell check is enabled. Please let us know if you have any questions at all.
UBD includes the following:
YOu can find out more about it anywhere. . . .but I know my district would be more likely to want to pay for planbook for its teachers if it could connect our UBD units with lesson plans.1 vote

I think it would be nice to have a delete button for the year, month and week. Sometimes I have to start over or maybe I made a mistake and this would make fixing it a whole lot easier.1 vote
To delete a group of lessons for a specific class or your entire year, just click Go To → Classes or School Year. Here, use the three-dot icon in the upper-right to select “Manage Lessons”. This will allow you to select up to one year of lessons quickly to delete those quickly.
