Mobile Apps - Add attendance tracker
The new mobile app is excellent and a definite upgrade from the old one. As someone who teaches from an iPad, so I use the mobile app, it's very frustrating to not be able to track attendance within the application itself.
2 votesGood news! Student Attendance Tracking is now available on the Planbook Mobile app! We hope this helps, any questions please let us know.

The Ability to Move Classes to non-class days
My weekly teaching schedule is quite fluid, and often I will have classes that get moved to day that is not normally a scheduled class day. It would be great it Planbook had to flexibility to allow moving individual classes to days when the class is not normally scheduled.
4 votesTo move a class to a non-class day, you can use the Add menu to “Add Extra Lesson”. This will allow you to create a new lesson for your class on any day you need. There is no limit to the number of extra lessons you can add for a class, and is absolutely fine to have more than one lesson for a class on a single day. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know.

auto-fill dates when printing from list view
It is a major pain to print your plans out of List View when you want to just print off a single unit. Currently you can select the course and the unit you want to view, which is fantastic. However, it is often quicker for me to take two screenshots than to try and get the dates correct. That's kind of dumb. For instance, if my unit is longer than what my screen will display and I click print before I remember that I need to write down the start and end dates. I can no longer scroll down to…

Create an option to archive old content and classes
Create an option to archive old content and classes
1 voteAll prior classes and lessons are automatically saved in your account. Each year, we recommend that you use the “Add Year” process to create a new school year, and this ensures that all of your prior years retain their content. Hope that helps, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Sharing plans without downloading them
I would like to be able to look at peoples plans without downloading them into my plans. It would be nicer to have access to peoples stuff and pick and choose what I like to download for myself using the basic copy and paste that is in the drop down menu in every lesson. To be able to just click into their Planbook year like I do with my previous years.

Make Co-teaching simplified!!
My coteacher and I found it extremely difficult and time consuming to make sure that we could both view AND edit all of our classes. Coteaching is very common now and this should not be so difficult!!!! We finally figured it out but it was NOT easy!
We want to both be able to to edit math (and every other subject). The replica/view/etc process was exhausting.3 votesGood news, we have added Lesson Linking to Planbook! Rather than copying lessons from a lesson bank or between classes, you can now create a LINK to the source lesson. This means that any changes you make will automatically show in ALL places where the lesson in linked! Lesson Linking, when combined with Lesson Banks, provides teachers and schools with a powerful curriculum management tool. Teachers can collaborate on the development of curriculum (classes, units, lessons), store the curriculum in lesson banks, and set permissions for who can view or edit the banks.

Extended lessons
Would it be possible to add some sort of visual aid (icon) to a lesson that has been extended (and the extended lesson) so that we can differentiate between them and a normal lesson
1 voteGood news, we have added Lesson Linking to Planbook! Rather than copying lessons from a lesson bank or between classes, you can now create a LINK to the source lesson. This means that any changes you make will automatically show in ALL places where the lesson in linked!
When you extend a lesson, this will now automatically create a LINK to the initial source lesson. You will see that this is a link when you hover over the lesson, as an “LL” will appear.

Move login button to left side of screen
When I open my browser and go to planbook.com, the login button if often hidden on the right hand side of the window. Even the horizontal scroll bar will not reveal the button. I have to resize the window in order to get to the login button.

Allow teachers to set the font style and size on the lesson screen during input
I need the default font size to be bigger as I am typing. Ideally, it would be the style and size the display will be. Even wearing my contacts and my readers, the default size 10 Arial is too small. I have to make it bigger every time. I have been using Planbook since 2015, and this is my biggest pet peeve!
2 votesGood news! You can now change your default font size for each lesson section. To learn more: https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1877734-how-to-adjust-the-font-for-lessons

Make a "baseline" year
I want to be able to make a baseline year that has all of my units and lessons exactly as they are in my pacing guides. It's not working for me to copy from previous years because I make too many changes that I don't want to keep for the next year. I went back to a year before I started using planbook to create this myself, but it's a challenge since the calendar defaults to the current year. If the baseline could exist without being tied to a particular year, that would be helpful.

Please add more tabs to UNIT plans to include Universal Design.
UBD includes the following:
Transfer skill
Enduring understandings
Standards
Essential Questions
Knowledge
Skills
YOu can find out more about it anywhere. . . .but I know my district would be more likely to want to pay for planbook for its teachers if it could connect our UBD units with lesson plans.1 voteYou can now add multiple sections to your units, to match what you have in your lessons! Delete all plans for year/month/week
I think it would be nice to have a delete button for the year, month and week. Sometimes I have to start over or maybe I made a mistake and this would make fixing it a whole lot easier.
1 voteTo delete a group of lessons for a specific class or your entire year, just click Go To → Classes or School Year. Here, use the three-dot icon in the upper-right to select “Manage Lessons”. This will allow you to select up to one year of lessons quickly to delete those quickly.

Lesson Banks
While teaching a unit that I copy and past from my Lesson Bank into my Daily Plans, I often make changes to those lessons as I'm teaching them or add additional resources items.
Why can't we have on option to update our Lesson Bank immediately with the changes we make to the Daily Lessons from that Lesson Bank
Too often I loose my changes because I made them in the Daily Lessons as I teach each day because I have to remember to also go back to the Lesson Bank and update those lessons also with my changes.
It's so…

Expand single lesson
When in the Lesson Bank, it would be great to be able to expand a single lesson when you select the "+" sign in stead of clicking it and all lessons in the bank expand. This way we can expand only those we want to open. When navigating to the lessons at the bottom of the bank, to make adjustments to, after you select the "+" it automatically takes you to the top lesson in the bank.
Thanks :_)
