Hide Standard Description automatically
I would like to see a feature where you do not always have to click off Standards Description every time I log in!

Auto-Save
An auto-save feature when we are typing plans over an extended period of time. We have lost lots of work several times because it doesn't auto-save.

Allow teachers to limit what standards show up in the list.
When I switch subjects I have to scroll through a HUGE list. This wastes my time. Another reason why I dislike Planbook. My district REQUIRES that I use it.

Search attachments
I love that all of the attachments are included in the database now, however it gets hard to find the one that I need. A thought I would like to see is the ability to search through the attachments to find the one that I want to use again. I have so many that it can get hard to find the right one quickly when planning.

allow me to skip a cycle day
For instance, my school simply changed the cycle. After the 1st quarter, we just randomly started at day 9 of a 12-day cycle. Now I need to just start on a specific day of the cycle.
4 votesTo skip a cycle day, click Go To → School Year → Add Term, and enter a name, date, and the cycle day you need for the date. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know. Thanks!

Allowing you to adjust the default setting when pasting links into your plans.
I want to be able to quickly paste a link into myplans. I use my plans to teach from and present from so I want to quickly then open the link while teaching. If it opens in the same window (the default setting) then I have to go back and relog into my plans. I would prefer to just have the default setting to be opening a link into a new window. Then I can skip the step of clicking on the link and editing it in the plan window.

Individual Class in Student VIew
I would like the ability to post a link on my website to an individual class view of the week (as opposed to all of my classes). Some of my students get confused when they look at homework for different sections of similar classes (for instance honors versus regular Eng. 9).
4 votesIf you click Go To → Sharing → Download Links, this will give you a unique link for each of your classes to share with the appropriate students. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Don't include planning/specials in grades
I want to use the grade book system but I don't want all of my classes to show up when I click classes because I create some classes to show my day rather than it be an actual class that students attend. For example, (my planning, speech that my students attend, gym, or specials) I use as a class so that I know what happens next that day but I don't want it to show up in my grade book as a class to choose from. It just gets confusing in the grade book menu. Other than that, I LOVE…
4 votesGood news! If you select the “No Students” check box for a class, this will now automatically hide the class in your grade book and student attendance. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know. Thanks!

Add template title
Please add the ability to create a "template name" for each template one creates. This way it will be easier to find a template one is looking for - and then if you could add a sort option to the templates list then one could sort them by class, template name, day, etc. Thanks you

When you need support it would be really great to get a live person.

Edit Images
It would be great if we had a few more editing options. In particular, the ability to crop images would be great.

keep planbook as a planner
I am worried that playbook becomes too clever and then looses its essential brilliance as a planner. Don't add mark books, quizess, surveys etc. I use noodle for that.

Have search box search titles of lessons
Some of my lessons from the previous year haven't shown up in the correct spots, and I thought it was because I taught them at a different part of the day (and put them in a different class spot). Therefore, I searched for the title of the lesson and didn't find them. I realized that it only found information in the Lesson section of my plans. It would be nice if when you searched, it searched in all sections of the class plans.

School wide Grading Periods and Letter Grades
Allow for the administrator to be able to make changes that impact all teachers without having to go into each teacher's account. The school has a grading scale and it would be less time consuming if the administrator could create grading scales and other things that apply to the school as a whole without having to go into each account.
4 votesGood news, administrators can now set up school years, grading periods, and letter grades for all teachers at their school! To learn more, visit our knowledge base at https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1946905-school-years-administrator

Improve the UI
The features are nice so far but there is much to be desired on the look of the platform. Also, the drag and drop feature for moving lessons is very touchy and it isn't as smooth as it could be.
4 votesWe’ve updated our user interface, to make our editors cleaner and more intuitive for teachers, students, and administrators. In addition, to assist our users with disabilities, we’ve added support for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to all our web pages. When you get a chance, take a look and let us know what you think!

Allow comments from individual administrators
Hello we are looking at the comments section and one part that would be helpful if you could add in is under the "Name" section we can only see who the message is written to but not who it is from. The reason we are having this problem is because we are two administrators and we would like to see who wrote the comment

Visual Lock for Locked Lessons
Put a lock in the upper right corner of each lesson where the lesson is locked to that specific date. This would omit the need to go and check back at which lesson you have locked and which ones you have not. :)

Create a Specific Sub Template
It would be great to have a specific Sub Template that includes the schedule, plans, plus the sub notes, all in one. Additionally, the template could have large gaps between the classes to provide room for substitutes to leave notes on how each class period went.
4 votesOn the Sharing Options page, you can now create a unique “Substitute View”. In this view, you can define exactly what information your substitutes will see, and you can also include “View Notes” to store any common information that will assist the substitute in managing your classroom. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know. Thanks!

Quick mark lessons as taught
Is there a way to quickly mark lessons as taught rather than having to individually click on each one. I'm a librarian and I see about 30 classes a week. Each class is entered into Planbook. I often have the same grade level students doing the same thing in their class, so I just copy the lesson over to each class within that grade level. I'd love to be able to quickly mark lessons as taught rather than having to click on each class and mark it as taught... a little tedious to do 31 times.

Sharing of Specific Week Only
Allow sharing of a specific week OnLy -- currently sharing settings allow for a link to be created which gives access to the current week as well as previous week and/or the entire school year. I would like a sharing link that allows for OnLy the current week to be viewed.
4 votesGood news! You can now control the View Range when you share information with your students. This allows you to limit the information you share for both future and prior lessons.
