Export Attendance
Now that we can keep track of attendance is there going to be anything added in which we can export the attendance for the class? Or at the very least, check it on the website. We can take attendance, but I haven't seen a way to go back and look at an overview of attendance either by student or by class.

From the Grades page, the Print to PDF button will allow you to print or export your student attendance. When you can, give it a try and let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I don't think 'Completed' is the right status for this task. I was hoping to get an export of the daily attendance but it seems like the only way to get that is to click through day by day and write it on a piece of paper...

This is a terrible solution! I just tried this and it printed to PDF each student on a separate page, with a total of attendance data, such as days present, absent, or tardy.
I would think after all these years (plus a tech-heavy pandemic!!) that you would have a way to export a CSV of all students in a class in a list, and ideally of all students sorted by class into one CSV, with specific dates at the top, and indicators of present, absent, or tardy.
If this exists, and I'm missing it, please point me to it! I would love to be corrected.

I don't have an option on the grades page related to student attendance, nor can I find any way to even see student attendance for more than one day at a time. I would like to be able to print/export student attendance by the month or trimester.

Is there a way to do it so that it isn't printing individual reports? Can I just print the attendance for today for example? 1 cohesive list, not 25 pages of individual attendance reports?

Yes export attendance or set up shim so it can communicate with Aeries.

I am a special needs educator. I need to meet with students x amounts of times per week or month (depending on what their Individualized Education Plan states). I was hoping to have a run down of absences per week so that I could easily track service times to see if I am meeting needs but having an overall year absence does not help in my type of classroom. Having a weekly breakdown would be so beneficial for teachers such as myself!

Is there any plans to be able to export it as a spreadsheet rather than just a PDF? I don't need each kid to be a separate page. I just want to know the numbers.

This would be a really helpful feature. Please consider.
