Administrator view
I don't want parents to see my "standards, notes, and details", but I want my administrator to- without giving him MY password. Is there a way to set up an admin view? Thank you!
1 voteWe now offer an administrator view. Please contact us at support@planbook.com if you would like us to set this up for your school.

Remove class from a single day
I teach a 4th grade self-contained class (teach all subjects). Especially during test season, certain subjects are cancelled for a day. I know I can adjust the time of a class (math might be moved from the morning to the afternoon, for example), but it would also be helpful if I could just delete those classes rather than have many empty slots that are unused.
249 votesGood news! We have added the ability to remove a class from a single day. Simply edit the lesson, and click No Class. Do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.
Thanks!

add templates for blocked classes and unit pans
I clicked on templates, but nothing came up. I would like to see template options, especially for blocked classes and unit plans instead of daily plans.
1 voteTemplates should now be working correctly. If you have any questions or problems, please contact us at support@planbook.com

Put back copy and paste
I used to be able to copy from one day with font, size and color, and paste to a different day. Now it will paste the info, but you have to go back and redo the font, size and color.

Add a search feature
I'd like to search my lesson plans. For example, I might want to view my lesson on instruments of the orchestra, but don't remember when it was taught. A search feature would let me find it quickly.
334 votesYou can now search your plans for all lessons that contain a specific key word or phrase. The search will look through all your classes, as well as all your school years, and return all matches. To search your plans, click Go To → Search.

fix the font when creating a pdf?
I've noticed that when I print to pdf, the font reverts to a standard one that does not look like Arial. I've also experimented with other fonts and they also do not carry over to the pdf. Is there a way to fix that? It's an aesthetic thing, I know, but it's a small pet peeve! Thanks.
4 votesFonts will now show correctly for PDF files

Allow public and private events
Have two Event options, Public and Private.
"Public Events" would be school plays, assemblies, card markings, etc.
"Private Events" would be teacher meetings, fire drills, etc.
30 votesYou can now make events private in planbook.com! To make an event private, click the “Private Event” checkbox in the event editor. Private events will not show in the student view. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.
Thanks!

Color code the templates page
When you list each individual template on one page, it's a lot to look through, especially if you just quickly want to edit one. Using the color coding that is on the main page would really help us visual-learner types. :)
