Slightly different to this, would be the ability to take an existing lesson and turn that into at least a skeleton outline for a new template. Maybe a "copy to template" or "convert to new template" type of feature.

Since the system won't allow me to suggest any more "new ideas", I'll tack a couple of To Do list suggestions to this one.

I do like the idea of having To-Do's showing on plans also. It's helpful to have them in a dedicated place, but then having them feed into daily plans would be handy also. For example, I have a "class" for my Planning Period. It would be nice to be able to choose to have dated To Do items feed into and appear in that course--or in a separate location at the beginning or ending of the day.

There are some other improvements that could be made in the side "drawer" also. Right now, to do's that are marked as complete, still show up and clutter the list. It appears that they move to the bottom, but it would be nice if they could be "hidden" unless you needed to refer to them.

It would also be helpful to have a larger window to view them in. Right now, it's already a narrow window since it collapses off to the side. But it only shows 2-3 tasks without having to scroll around and view the rest of the list. It would be nice to at least have an option of opening it in it's own window if needed.

This would solve a lot of my issues within Planbook. Combine this with the ability to continue/bump only checked items within a section and it would be perfect!

Love this idea of Giselle's. I think it would work great for me. I write my plans knowing that they'll take several days. I hate having to copy/paste or extend when I sometimes make changes. I'd rather it show once across the days. I could still extend if I needed to, but it would just make the box bigger.
