Extend/Bump only certain parts
Extend/bump only certain tabs of the day. For example: if I have a reading tab and a vocabulary tab, I only want the vocabulary tab to extend/bump to the next day. This would be useful when I only complete part of the lesson.

I have planned 5 weeks in advance one one section of my lesson is a daily warmup (different each day, but specific to that day). It's in my Notes section. Now, I need to extend my lesson but it will throw off my scheduled warmup for all the days in the 5 weeks! I would love to be able to only bump/extend one section (in the same way you can copy all or some of a lesson) or to be able to lock specific parts of a lesson to days. I created a template for these but it doesn't override what I change in a lesson (and it absolutely shouldn't).

When another teacher wants a double period and my students are assigned one chapter in the novel each evening, I want to be able to shift my lessons without shifting the homework. Or it would be nice to be able to shift the homework without shifting the lesson if the timing would be better. Cut and paste of multiple lessons is time consuming.

This would solve a lot of my issues within Planbook. Combine this with the ability to continue/bump only checked items within a section and it would be perfect!

Allow users the ability to highlight given items within a lesson or homework tab, let's say, and move them forward or back accordingly. For example, let's say I planned on getting through action items 1-7 in my "lesson" but only made it through action item number 5. Now I need to bump action items 6 & 7 to the next day, but there is no quick and easy way to do that. If I could bump those two action items to the next day and then move them up or down in the new dates lesson accordingly, that would be fantastic!

Being able to extend or bump parts of lessons would be great! I extend some activities but not all more often than a whole lesson.

We would like to be able to extend and/or bump only certain tabs - example: didn't get to something and want to extend, but currently it will extend the entire lesson from objectives to hw.

Allow for only part of a lesson to bump.

I LOVE that we can now lock a lesson to a date. I suggest you consider adding a feature to lock just a part of the template to date. Ex: Homework or an Assessment to be locked to a date. This would be helpful when you need to bump a lesson, but an assessment is still due (such as an essay or project or a quiz) so it still needs to lock to a certain date while the rest of the lesson may need to bump.

Since each tab of the lesson has at the bottom of the page an Extend key. It would be neat if you could just extend that section of the lesson. Forinstance, continue assessing students on a project. You would just extend the assessment tab and not the entire lesson.

It would be nice to bump parts of lessons to the next day instead of only bumping the whole lesson. there are days when I don't complete everything and would like to move the parts not done to the next day.

We are noticing in my building that it would be nice if we could just highlight a portion of an unfinished lesson and bump it to the next day. Instead of cutting and pasting

I would like to be able to choose bump 1 day, bump entire week, bump all lessons after.

The notes item is one that I use often and it is a great tool to help keep track of notes on student learning or what I need to remember from that day. It would be great to be able to select which items I would like to bump/extend this way, my notes would not bump/extend with the lesson.

Is it possible to bump just one tab of a day to the next day, instead of the whole lesson?

By making daily lesson plans into a sort of daily checklist for individual periods, teachers can extend and/or bump certain parts of a lesson to the next day or several days later or move up certain parts of the next days lesson.

I would like to be able to bump or extend specific portions of a lesson for a class. I have a block period and cover several components in that time but sometimes only need to bump or extend a portion. For instance, I did teach the warm up but did not finish a writing lesson. I also don't want it to bump or extend the homework to the next day. Is there a way to give me a choice about what to extend and what not?
I absolutely LOVE my planbook.com and have found it to be a wonderful time saver for me and resource for my students!!! Thank you for this extraordinary product!
