Add Auto Correct feature
I would love it if the program could correct typos as I'm writing lessons so I don't have to keep going back to correct grammatical errors.

Adding Students
I teach 1st through 8th grade in Music. There has to be a better way to add students and assign them to the classes you have. There also has to be a faster way too. I have added students in grades 1 through 4 so far and there is no way to keep them separated, especially when you only have one choice that says "ASSIGN ALL STUDENTS TO A CLASS". This needs to be more user friendly.
2 votesYou can now filter students by grade level when viewing and assigning to classes. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Allows students/parents to print grades
Teachers can create reports for students, but it would be helpful if a parent could be able to create a report for their child. Our classes are part of a homeschool co-op and parents are responsible for printing the semester grades. It would be helpful if parents/students could create and print off something similar to performance reports that teachers can create.

Performance Printing
When printing the student's performance report it would be nice if the notes I added to the student showed up so I can see why they received the grade they did, etc.

Print incomplete work
I would like to be able to print out who is missing classwork. I would like to do this for an individual student and for a class. This would be helpful so I don't have to go through each class and write it down.
2 votesFor student performance reports, you can now control what individual scores to include. You can choose to include/exclude the following types: entered, empty, excused, incomplete, and missing. We hope that helps! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Make layout more visually friendly
The layout makes the screen look crowded. I think it would help if you changed the default font and made the classes a larger type than the content. As it looks right now, lunch and recess look like classes. It would be great if those periods blended in with the background more.
2 votesPlanbook v12 offers a new User Interface that is more modern, intuitive, customizable and FAST! You can adjust your display with new options, including custom fonts, dark mode, reduced brightness of past days, school day/week counters (up and down), view by cycle, and a reminders panel.

When weekly minimum days are full days.
We have a minimum day most Wednesdays but not all. I'd love to have a way to specify when it's a full day Wednesday and automatically have a lesson put into that space with times altered.

Unit Bank
Unit depository for districts so teachers can create and share Units.
2 votesSchools and districts can now develop curriculum lesson banks to be shared with all teachers, or specific teaching teams, with full control over who is able to view or edit the curriculum. Hide unit standards in display settings
It would be great if we could hide unit standards so that they don't display.
2 votesHello, To hide unit standards from your Plans, you may click the “View” button at the top-right, then un-select the checkbox for “Unit Details”, under View Items. Please let us know if you have any questions, thanks!

Edit class time for replica lesson
I'd like to be able to edit the class time of a replica class right from clicking on the Plans.
Currently I have to go into Classes and change the replica to View/Edit, then go back and change the meeting time, then go back to Classes and change that class back over to a replica. I still want all of the lesson/homework to be a replica, while simply changing the meeting time.

Full-screen View for Projecting on Smartboards and Promethean Boards
Create a Full-screen View option to allow teachers to project their lesson plans, homework, learning targets, etc. in a readable size for students to view from their desks. This image would work well on Smartboards and Promethean Boards. Then, students could easily read over the lesson plans, homework, or learning targets as they come into the classroom. In fact, I could have my DOL (Daily Oral Language) up for them to work on since DOL is the first item on my lesson plan. Then, I could quickly scroll down through the homework and learning targets. Currently, I have to zoom…

When in Full Screen mode, you’ll also be able to print via the Browser Print Icon. We hope this helps, any questions please let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Click Today on weekend, go to next Monday
Currently, when I click "Today" on a Sunday in the weekly plan view, I am brought to the previous week's lessons, whereas I would much prefer to be shown the upcoming week. Could you please fix this? Thank you!

Saving shared plans/ units
I would like to be able to 'claim' or 'appropriate' a lesson or unit plan on which another teacher and I have been collaborating. Currently, because the other teacher started it and invited me, I cannot save the lesson plans or even make a unit with the information we have been sharing in the 'plans' section.'
2 votesGood news, we have added Lesson Linking to Planbook! Rather than copying lessons from a lesson bank or between classes, you can now create a LINK to the source lesson. This means that any changes you make will automatically show in ALL places where the lesson in linked! To learn more, visit our knowledge base at https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1947022-the-copy-screen
Lesson Linking, when combined with Lesson Banks, provides teachers and schools with a powerful curriculum management tool. Teachers can collaborate on the development of curriculum (classes, units, lessons), store the curriculum in lesson banks, and set permissions for who can view or edit the banks.
Teachers can then either COPY or LINK the lesson banks into their plans. COPY will allow teachers to create a new set of lessons that are solely for their individual use. LINK will establish a link to the source lesson, such that any changes made will automatically show…

Color Picker - Show currently selected
I wish I could tell what colors I have already used for my classes, maybe that have a check mark on them or something so I don't reuse the colors for another class.
2 votesThe new color selector in Planbook allows you to select a color from one of our sixty preset color options, via a full color grid, or by entering a color code (Hex, RGB or HSL)! This new color selector will also show you which color is currently selected for your item.
