Link Assessments to Lessons, Not Dates
I have added in my lessons and assessments, but when I had to "bump" the lessons, the assessments did NOT move... So now I have to go in and manually edit the dates for all 15 of them!! Ugh! It would be most helpful if an assessment could be tied to a specific lesson. The "lesson" that day just happens to be a test or quiz. This way, if you bump lessons, EVERYTHING shifts.
If the lessons have a unique lesson identifier, then the assessment could be attached to that lesson.
24 votesGood news! You can now attach assignments and assessments directly to your lessons. Simply use the “Add Assignment” or “Add Assessment” options on the Lesson Action drop down. When you shift your lessons, your assessments/assignments will shift as well. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

Move Lessons From a Past Year
It would be great to easily navigate between past school years to and from the present year to copy and paste lessons!
23 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Excuse student from an assignment
I need to be able to exclude some assignments for certain students (absent for task or new to school after the start of the unit/task/grading period begins)
In engrade.com I was able to mark "E" for excluded so that certain assignments were not included in grade calculations for that particular student.23 votesYou can use the following codes for student grades:
M = Missing
I = Incomplete
E = ExcusedWe hope that helps! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Allow admin to create school-wide templates
This would allow admins to provide school-specific planning templates to teachers, reducing the workload on teachers. We have specific planning practices we'd like our teachers to use, but we don't want them to have to "recreate" a template in our lesson layout.
23 votesGood news, schools and districts can now create templates that are then available to all teachers! Multiple templates can be created to help different departments address required lesson components. Allow a Google Classroom class to be matched up with its Planbook counterpart
I like that I can now see assignments from Classroom in Planbook. It shows up at the top of the page for the due date. It would be great if the class on Classroom could be connected to its Planbook class so that the assignment showed up within the class it was assigned for.
23 votesYou can now connect each Planbook class to a specific Google Classroom. This allows you to view and update Google coursework directly from each class, quickly transfer assignments and assessments to Google Classroom, add or update scores for Google students, and use Google scores in Planbook student performance reports. Select Go To > Classes to edit a class and connect it to Google Classroom.

Allow black/white printing
I like that you have added an option for black and white printing, but it still comes out looking like it was trying to print a color copy - very pixelated. A clean grey and white copy would be much easier to read. Thanks!
22 votesGood news! We’ve added a “Print in greyscale” option when printing. Hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Thanks!

report card
I wish the grades from different classes could be easily transferred into a report card for each student through the administrator view.
Along the same lines, a high school transcript would be amazing!

offer a way to decrease the font of the standards
I really would like to use the standards, but I really like to have my plans print out on 1 page. When I put the standards in, it takes up too much room. I suggest creating a way where you could change the font size of the standards.
21 votesWe have added the ability to specify a default font type, size and color for each lesson section, including Standards. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@planbook.com
Thanks!

can I share my lesson plans with other teachers?
At my school my teammates and I each will write the plans for a certain subject each week. Are we able to share the plans with each other through planbook.com? It would be great if I could send my math plans into all my coworker's lesson plans in their account and they could send their subject plans into my account. Is this possible?

Create a way to import specific lessons/standards between years and not your entire planbook.
When searching using standards (where it lists how many times you have taught it) I would like an option that would allow you to see which lessons you taught for those standards. It would also have an option then to transfer the lesson to any date. Example: If I taught a lesson on fractions on April 1st this year, but next year am teaching earlier in the year. I would just click on the lesson and click on the date I would be wanting to teach it.
21 votesWhen searching lessons, you can copy/paste a lesson from the search list to any class/date in your plans. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

District level administrators (multiple schools)
It would be helpful to have district administrators who can view, add, and delete teachers from multiple schools within a district. This would be helpful for the beginning set up and end of the school year cleanup to maintain the number allowed in the district subscription.
21 votesAdministrators can now manage multiple school subscriptions under a single district login. You can sort by building, and add or remove accounts from individual school accounts. District administrators can also create lesson layouts, templates, and school years to be used by all teachers in the district. Please contact our support team at support@planbook.com or 888-205-5528 if you’d like to set up a district account.

Attach files to units
I would like to attach pdf files to units. Our district has pacing guides for each unit in math and E/LA. This will be a quick way for teachers to reference the pacing guides quickly.

iOS App - Switch school year
At the top of my iPad screen it says "2015/2016" for the school year. How do I change it to 2016/2017?? There's no drop down like there is on the web version.
Thanks!

Make a teacher favorite list
Make a way to save the emails and teacher keys so you can have a drop down list of favorite teachers instead of having to type them each time.
20 votesWhen importing lessons, you can now save Teacher Emails and Keys. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know. Thanks!

Search for a select date of lesson plans when importing
Allow to filter the dates of the lesson plans you want to view from another teacher instead of requiring us to scroll all the way down through the past plans. The date function does not do this, only works when importing.
20 votesOn the Import page, the View Lessons button will now show only the lessons specified in the date range.

Print Option - One lesson per page
It would be helpful if teachers could set a range of dates and then print out a series of lesson plans - one class and one day per page. We could then print hard copies of several lessons without doing it one class and one lesson at a time.

Allow replica lessons not tied to date
I am trying to set up multiple sets so that when I edit one class it will automatically input for the other identical class.
The problem I'm running into, though, is that we run on a rotating day schedule. When I input information into the "master" schedule and the other set skips out for that particular day, it doesn't push the lesson for the other class...it merely deletes it. PLEASE CHANGE!!!
20 votesGood news! We have added the ability LINK lessons! This allows you to replicate a single lesson to multiple classes AND multiple days. To learn more – https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1947139-copying-linking-lessons-in-your-account
