Checkbox to mark lesson complete
I would love to be able to "check off" lessons as I complete them during the day. It would also be great if there was a check box feature within the lesson, like the bullets.
Planbook.com now allows you to track the “Status” of your lessons! You can define as many different status codes as you’d like, along with a unique color code for each. To learn more, https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1811050-lesson-status

I agree with the comment below. Check boxes within a lesson (with each entry or assignment) and then I would love for unchecked assignments to move to the next day. This would be awesome.
"...it's check boxes WITHIN a lesson that I would want. Again, I don't always get to every component. I'd love for UN-checked items to merge into and with the next day's lesson, ... I just would want to be able to tell later which components I completed on which day. If I didn't get to the last two parts/sections, I want to be able to tell which day I DID get to it so that my lessons remain accurate. " -

When I commented on this feature, I was wanting a place to check beside every activity in each day's lesson to check off. Many days I do not get everything that I planned completed. I would like to check off the activities, worksheets, projects, etc. that was completed. Then the next day, I know where to start.

Yes! I would love a 'finished' button for each lesson, which would shade it a darker color grey to show it's been completed.

I would love the check box bullet feature! I teach multiple classes the same lesson, and it can be difficult to keep track of which activities I finished with which class.

Looks like many are thinking the same way. I teach ESL and have 9 different groups each day every day, It is hard to keep track and remember by the end of the day. Please hurry with this feature.

It would be lovely to be able to flag a lesson - even possibly with a (red) coloured beam/strip underneath the lesson title. (Or use tags) It would need to be easily turned on/off at the top level, not buried inside where most of the content is. Why? Well I suspect once you had it, teachers would be really grateful for it and use it in many different ways. But me? I want it because I create my lessons and put them in, make annotations etc, but don't always get to immediately go back to my program and register that it's been taught. So when I get up to the registration process I have to search through to find out what I last registered and pick up from there. (Don't forget, there is a method of programming that is not purely chronological) A flagging/tagging option would allow me to quickly click and identify that it has been done.
There would be other options though - flagging a lesson where you want to remind yourself that not all the resources are included, or the lesson outline is incomplete, or ... you get the idea.
As I said, a number of the coolest apps/items that have generated over the past decade have features that we didn't even know we needed, but once we have them they're game changers and we'd never go back. -

I'd love to see a check to finish a lesson--it would be great if that would also "freeze" the lesson so the information could not be edited accidentally. Maybe there could be a setting to freeze the week as well. That would help a lot when you look back to previous weeks and then accidentally open a past lesson by mistake and start working in it.

When a lesson or day has been completed, then it could be "shaded" a slightly darker color to easily distinguish what has been accomplished or needs to be bumped, moved back, or taught.

Check boxes would be great, but should be optional I think.

Anonymous-I have done a little bit of that with highlighting also, but it's a bit of a pain on an iPad.

I keep track of completed lessons by highlighting them. Click on the lesson to edit it, highlight what is completed and change the background color for that text. As a homeschooling parent, with my two older students I assign each of them a highlighted color so I can see at a glance if only one of them got to a certain lesson (yellow for my daughter, blue for my son, and green if they both completed it). Hope that helps!

I see that this is now in the "started" status. Just want to clarify that, at least for me", it's check boxes WITHIN a lesson that I would want. Again, I don't always get to every component. I'd love for UN-checked items to merge into and with the next day's lesson, but not everyone may want that. I just would want to be able to tell later which components I completed on which day. If I didn't get to the last two parts/sections, I want to be able to tell which day I DID get to it so that my lessons remain accurate.

It would be great if there was a box to check (in the upper right-hand or left-hand corner) to indicate the lessons for that week are complete. Sometimes I plan for the entire month of Math and LArts, but week-by-week for content, so I spend time looking to see where I left off. Or maybe a way to check for each day? Just thinking what most teachers would find useful.

I would love to see this also. I don't always get everything done that I've added to the lesson notes. This would allow me to check off and track what I got done. Then, uncompleted items could carry over to the next day. Maybe even a dim/grayed out section for what was already completed and the black/bold of the information for that 2nd day. This way, I could still view the lesson as a whole, but be able to tell which components were completed each day.
Highlighting would be awesome also!

As you move through the day, the item has an area to check the box if completed or not...also an area to have a class list would be beneficial.
