Share individual sections or lessons
Some colleagues work with you on a specific unit, lesson, or class, so they would not need access to all of your plans, but could benefit from sharing a common plan book with one of your "classes" in Planbook. It would be a great feature to customize the sharing feature.
Good news! You can now create as many “View” links as you’d like, and each can have its own unique set of information to share (classes, lesson sections, lesson status, date range, etc.) This allows you to define unique Views for students, parents, substitutes, administrators, or any other group you’d like!
You can also now include “View Notes” for each View, to provide any general information you’d like to share that is not tied to a specific day or week.

I agree that the share options need updated. I will need to share my lessons with admin next year, but I don’t want them to see all of my classes. I would like to control which classes and which sections they see.
I sometimes make fake classes just to hold lessons that I’m working on or to store them as a “bank”.
I know that there is now a lesson bank option available, but I don’t have all of them moved to that yet.

I would like to share the student view with only the section to whom it pertains. I do not need my physical science students viewing my chemistry or physics lessons.

I would like to limit the plans I share with other teachers. I only want to share plans in one subject area with other teachers using planbook. I do not want to share my entire planboook.

I think the Share feature should be updated, so that a teacher can choose what he/she wants to be shared and omit what he/she does not want viewed. Possibly even add a date frame, so that the plans would only be able to be downloaded for a time period and then they would not be available.
