How's do I delete a school year?
I created a school year and moved over a bunch of stuff I didn't want. I couldn't see how to delete the year and start over, so I created another year with the letter A after it. I'd like to delete the year I created by mistake.

Allow lesson in separate window
allow a specific lesson to be viewed in a separate window so that you could show it to your class. Also allow full screen option
15 votesGood news! You can now use the “Print Lesson” option in the Lesson Action drop down list to quickly create a separate PDF of a single lesson to share with students. Hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

Print day in two columns
When I print my lessons in day mode, there is a lot of white dead space across the page. If we could chronologically put 2 columns of that day's lessons per page wrapping the text, I could fit my lessons on less paper while still keeping only that day's lessons on minimal paper. Are there any other day mode templates for only one day's lessons?

Accessing current plans alongside previous year lesson plans
It would be great to see current year lesson plans along side previous year lesson plans, so that when I want to copy and paste a lesson plan from last year to this year I can access it more easily.
15 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Add a template bank
I would like to make a template (say for stations) that I could then attach to lessons in any class as needed. This way I can add a template for stations, observation days, holidays, anything really. And then I can select to use the template whenever I want, rather than having to select a day to use a template (that is specific to one class).
15 votesA single template can now hold information for all lesson sections, and can be applied to multiple classes across multiple school years! You can also schedule a single template for multiple days of the week, attach files to a template, and add or remove a template from individual lessons.

Print from computer print feature the way you used to allow.
Please give back the print features you had. For the last two years, I could use the regular print feature (as if I was printing any page off the internet/computer) and my lesson plans would print beautifully. I didn't have to select what I did and did not want to print. I didn't have to have it turned into a pdf document. I have to print mine so whole lessons fit on a page. I had to create 45 .pdf documents this weekend in order to get it set right.
Now if I try to print using command+P, it only…

Improve the snow day
There should be a simple option for "snow day" or "unexpected cancellation" for inclement weather or other reasons. Within that option, there should be a simple checkbox to either count the school day or not (this matters to elementary school teachers who count the days and celebrate 100 days). Secondly, there should be an easy checkbox to continue or skip the cycle day. Finally, there should be an easy checkbox of what to do with the lessons (deleted or pushed to the next day or even saved on that day to be used when the teacher can make up the…
15 votesGood news! On the Add drop down, you can select to add a “No School Day”. You’ll see two check boxes, both automatically selected, to mark this day as a No School and a No Cycle day. This will ensure that all lessons are automatically adjusted, and your school day counter is correct. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know!

add English Language Learner standards by state
It would be amazing if you could add English Language Learner standards for each state. I am required to have them listed in my lesson plans as I have students with Language Learning Plans in my class. I am so not looking forward to making my own set of standards to show them!
Since Arizona and many states require something similar for English Language Learners, it would be a great feature!

Student view at home
Please permit students to view classes one day at a time. Currently the option to only view as a full week can be difficult to read and I ask them to copy/paste out of planbook and into a document.

Add Standards - Keep subject the same when switching grade
It would great if there was a way to keep the subject area the same as you search between grade levels. I work with special education students and often times I am searching between multiple grade within the same subject. When I want to search for another grade level, the subject goes back to the default which is "Arts-Connections". Thanks!
