  2. Allow a class to meet only 1 day a week

For example, I would like to make notes for what we'll do in tutoring, which only meets 1 day a week. My other classes still meet every day 5 days a week.

  3. have an option to upload attachments to the Plans page

I have a document I use while I'm lesson planning that helps me get together all the resources I need for a particular week. I'd like to upload it to the Plans page since it is relevant to that week's assignments.

    Hi Rebecca,

When you open a lesson, there is an option to Attach at the bottom. Take a look, and please let us know if you have questions.

    Thanks!

  4. create a drop down menu for bump back and bump forward.

For example, you should create a drop down menu for bump forward and back 1 week, 1 month, one period, etc.

    Hi Lisa,

This feedback system is used for sending us suggestions on new features to add. To leave comments for your teachers, you will need to select Comments from the More menu. Take a look, and please email support@planbook.com if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Chris

  6. Button to replicate a lesson in other periods.

As a reading specialist, I am sometimes teaching the same lesson with multiple classes. It would be very helpful if there was a button or option to replicate the same lesson & standards in multiple classes without cutting and pasting. Two of the other specialists (one reading, one math) in my building have already given up on this product because it lacks this feature.

When you are looking at your plans in the Week view, you can right click a lesson and you will see Lesson Actions. Copy and paste are options which allow you to copy all sections of a lesson into another. If you have any questions, please send us a message to support@planbook.com.

    Thanks!

  7. Allow a choice for templates to be set for a Day (6 day rotation) rather than a day of the week

Our school district uses a 6 day rotation schedule. It would be great if we could set a template for a day in the rotation rather than a day of the week.

  12. Put a button in to extend the standards only.

Many time I want the same standards across the week but I change the lesson. I want to carry the standards but not "extend" the entire lesson.

I would like to be able to bump a lesson to a different day if students were absent or class was canceled...without having the whole schedule then bump over...for example I would like to move my lesson from Monday to thursday without my Friday lesson then moving 3 spots over

    Hi Angela,

In that case, you may be able to benefit from our copy/paste feature. In the week view, you can right click a lesson and Lesson Actions should appear. One of the option is copy, you can select that and then right click another lesson to paste it. Let me know if this helps, or if you have any other questions by sending us a message at support@planbook.com.

    Thanks!

  16. lesson boxes the same size

You added this feature but it will not let me make any changes for my display.. it says that each lesson box needs to be numeric but there is no place to change/add/switch this feature!! I would love to make all those changes that have been added but I can not because of this..

    Hi Stephanie,

When you are logged in to your plans, try holding CTRL and pressing F5. This will give it a full refresh which should allow you to properly activate the equal size lesson boxes. If this does not help, please send us a message to support@planbook.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  18. Tabs

Let users create their own tabs (for example - I would use different tabs for different parts of my lesson plan, SMART Goal, Student objective, materials, etc.) Just like you have a "Standards" tab and it adds the standard to the bottom of the lesson.

    Hi there,

If you use your Go To menu, and then click on “Display”, you will see that you can rename your tabs here. I would recommend editing any tab you wish except section 7, 8, or 9. Those sections are used for My List, Standards, and School List. If you have any questions, follow up in an email to support@planbook.com.

  19. yay!

    Hi there,

If you set a class as a “No Class” day, you can undo this by first navigating to Classes from the Go To menu. From there, select the class and choose Edit to the far right. This will display any No Class Days, which can remove by selecting the X to the right of the date. If you have any questions, please email us at support@planbook.com.

    Thanks!
