Allow options in planbook for "Lessons", "Assignment" "Assessment"
It would be great if when you go to "plans" and you want to add a new entry, you can select if this is a "Lesson", "Assignment", or "Assessments" so that they dont appear as a completely different on the lesson Plan. Typically, If I am doing an assignment or an assessment, that is what we are doing for the entire class period.
This should still synch up with the tab that says "assessments" and "assignments". I just think that it would be more convenient to let that be an option as you are looking at the planbook so that…

Improve google calendar integration
Improve google calendar integration. I created a google calendar to show all of my student pullouts. It has some students going to different places at the same time, as separate events. When I integrated these events into planbook, only one of the events would show up. Furthermore, some of my daily specials only appeared on certain days of the week.

View two school years at a time and shift lessons to new year.
An easier way to shift lessons from prior year planbook. It would be nice to see side by side last year with this year too.
7 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Viewing Grades by Quarter only
It would be helpful to have an option to have students only able to view grades for one quarter at a time. Not all teachers average out quarter for a semester or a year. Having students see an accumulated grade for multiple quarters does not help them see if they need to improve for the current quarter.

iOS - Allow view/edit grades
I'm in love with the new grades component! However I like to give in-class grades and it would be nice to have the grades component on my iPhone app so I can put them in immediately while I'm just walking around my room.

Allow sharing of entire units
Would like to be able to share an entire unit with another teacher. Would like them to be able to view an entire unit and copy/save the unit into their Planbook & be able to edit it. We like to share planning, I plan one unit and another teacher plans another - this would allow us to share these units and reduce our plan time. (If we could save these in a "bank" that would be wonderful! We like to plan over the summer w/o committing to a date.

Allow sharing for individual classes
Allow individual class lessons to be shared with teachers. I don't like other teachers who don't work with me all day to see have my plans
7 votesGood news, we’ve added a new method for sharing plans between teachers! You can now enter individual teacher emails, select specific classes or lesson banks, and set view or edit rules for each lesson section. When combined with our new Lesson Linking feature, you now have a much more effective way to enable teacher collaboration! Print layout for units
The current layout for unit plans waste a lot of paper. For my larger units, the standards eat up a lot of paper and the left side of the page is empty.
I'd like to see each section take the full width of the page, with the option of printing only standard id's.

Allow users to specify which lesson tabs are auto copied in replica.
When a teacher uses replica to plan with his/her team, it would be helpful to be able to put personal notes or decide which tabs would be included. If I teach a bi-lingual class I might use different assignments. If I have math groups, I might want to include which students are in each one. That would allow us to share the workload and still have the records we are required to have specific to our own class.

On every field on the plans, this way teachers get more specific feedback, and administrators are required to check every part of every plan every week.

Color code the templates page
When you list each individual template on one page, it's a lot to look through, especially if you just quickly want to edit one. Using the color coding that is on the main page would really help us visual-learner types. :)
