Don't delete classes!
I went to change a class time for ONE class and instead, it deleted the ENTIRE class off of my lessons, along with deleting ALL of my plans from the beginning of the school year. PLEASE - if I didn't hit SAVE or APPLY, why should it automatically DELETE my class?? Very unhappy right now!!

Standards for classes
I want there to be an option to look at standards for only a certain class. I teach the same standards in different classes and need to know the report for each individual class. Also, can you make a way to print the standards? That would help a ton!
P.S. I feel like I was searching this summer and this was available... maybe I was dreaming? Not sure but it felt real, like you put it up and then took it down.
9 votesYou can now run a standards report for each individual class. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

dragging lessons in month view
It would be great to be able to drag and drop lessons in Month View. I use that view to get a sense of how things are playing out for the month and sometimes I need to move stuff around to manage the flow of lessons.
It would also be great to be able to identify which weeks I want to see rather than just have it limited to one month.

Allow student view to default to Day view
Allow the current day to be the default that students see when they log on. Students do not like the "jumbled" look of the whole week.

Copy or move multiple lessons at once
My lessons are usually in series. Often from year to year I teach the same series of lessons at different times in the year. In order to move a series to a different spot in the school year (sometimes a month or more earlier or later), I have to move or copy them day by day. This tricky, not to mention tedious when the lesson spans a week or more...
9 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

iOS - Add To Do List
I would love for the "To Do List" to also be seen & edited on the iPhone app. It would be great to be able to quickly see, add to, & work on my list of things to do.

Identify standard source
identify which standard is being referenced IN the planbook. For example, I will often add an ISTE, AASL and CC standards and hard to know which is which based solely on ID
9 votesWhen you hover over a standard ID in your plans, you’ll now see the framework, subject and grade levels for the standard. Hope this helps, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

Allow students to print lessons
I share my weekly plans with my para via the student view link under Sharing Options. She can view them just fine, but cannot print to PDF (she likes to have a hard copy). I have to print to PDF from my account, then email her that PDF each week, which is doable, but tedious. Please make changes so that the student view also has a print to PDF option. This would make our teacher lives so much easier! Thanks for all that you do for us.

Give scroll bar more contrast
Give the scroll bar on the right more contrast. It's difficult to find at times, especially against the various colored tabs/headings.
9 votesAs part of our new user interface for v12 of Planbook, we now offer a much darker scroll bar. We hope that helps! Any questions please let us know at support@planbook.com

Option to automatically update lessons in the bank
Lesson bank lessons should optionally reflect any changes made in the plans.
9 votesGood news, we have added Lesson Linking to Planbook! Rather than copying lessons from a lesson bank or between classes, you can now create a LINK to the source lesson. This means that any changes you make will automatically show in ALL places where the lesson in linked! To learn more, visit our knowledge base at https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1947022-the-copy-screen

Copy bullets from Google Doc, text does not wrap
When I copy and paste text from a Google Doc into my lesson plan that contains bullets, my text does not wrap. Therefore, when I go to print the lesson the text runs off of the page. If I clear the formatting it will work, but I lose anything that was bold text, underlined, etc.
9 votesWhen copying bullet items from Google Docs, all text will now wrap in Planbook. We hope this helps, any questions please let us know at support@planbook.com

Notes and To Do be larger vertically
Can the Notes and To Do be larger vertically? There is so much unused space below that area. Expanding the notes and to do sections horizontally cuts into my plans. I want to see the whole note. Not just a line or two. Thank you!
9 votesTo allow our teachers more flexibility in the creation and management of Notes and To Do items, we have moved these to their own page in Planbook!
And to allow teachers to quickly view upcoming items, we have added a Reminders panel, to show events, classwork, notes and todos that are due in the next 7 days.
To view the Reminders panel, click the "Reminders" icon in the upper right corner of your Plans page.

I think it would be helpful to view someone's lesson BEFORE you import it so you can be sure you are importing the right lessons or days

free year
Hello! I saw your presentation while at the T21 conference at Illinois State. As a student teacher I was hoping to take advantage of the one year trial, with the code freeyearISU but it didn't work. I hope that I can try this out longer before deciding how long to commit to planbook.
Thank you8 votesPlease email us at support@planbook.com if this is still not working for you and we can get the free year added. Thanks!

Select month in Calendar
Consider adding a list of months in the form of a drop down menu when using the "Add Event" feature. This would save having to click through each month to get to the one you want.
I wanted to let you know that my first impression of the product are very, very good. This is my first time using it and after reading the overview pages I had enough information to plan out the whole year with lessons, holidays, and other events. I found it quite easy to work everything out.
8 votesOur new date selector allows you to adjust the year and month as individual items, saving you the time required to scroll through multiple months to find your date!
