Allow student view to default to Day view

Allow the current day to be the default that students see when they log on. Students do not like the "jumbled" look of the whole week.

    I really need this feature too! Even as the teacher I prefer the day view. I can switch it to the week view if need be. When can this be fixed so the default is day view? It would really help with remote learning so the parents and the students know the schedule for the day

    I could really use this for the Planbook that is embedded in my teacher page. It would display cleaner and be more clear fo the students.

    I completely agree! My high school students have the same complaint. A week view on a Chromebook is too much for them. Or...add a button for "Today" that creates a day view and a "This Week" button that shows the current week. I would like to choose the default view for students, since I show the lesson plan each hour on a screen as students walk in. Having to change the class and scroll to day view (I magnify the screen to be easily seen.) is very tedious every period.

    I would love to have the student/public view be just today as opposed to the entire week.
