Daily grade
I would like to be able to put in a daily grade, such as a participation grade. But I would like to be able to do it once and have it be a recurring each class. It is difficult to put in a grade such as participation for every day and every class individually.

Performance Report - Add a "Please Sign and Return" option
Add an optional "Please Sign and Return" to be included on performance reports, so that when we send them home to parents, we don't have to stamp them individually.

Attach files to individual students
Sometimes a student will write or draw something that you want to add to their file to discuss at Parent teacher interviews or discuss with another teacher. Or, you receive a hard copy of a report and you would like to add without the having to ask for a digital copy. It would be great if there was a feature under the student profile to take a picture for an attachment in order to do this.

Color code seating charts
I teach music so I see every student in Pre-K -5th and 2 AU classes. I group them by colors and numbers and anything else I can think of. It would be great if we could have different options to group them. Thanks!

Copy ALL assessment information
I have heard from all teachers that it is unhelpful to have a copy button, to copy assessments and assignment from class to class that only copies the title of the assessment, but not the points, or date or any other detail, most of my teachers teach multiple sections of the same class. Please consider a copying option for all details of an assessment and assigmnet.

Printable Attendance List
I have my students assigned to a class. It would be nice to create a printable attendance list for when there is a sub. I am a special education teacher so I have multiple small groups in a day and I like to know when kids are and are not coming to group for the IEP.

Combo class for split grade levels
When teaching a split grade level it would be nice to have the day broken into two columns. This way I can see what both groups are doing at that time. For example, at 9:00am my 4th graders are having whole group reading and my 5th graders are completing independent stations. I would be able to write both grade level plans and see them for the same time frame with two columns.

Admin - Ability to add attendance
School Admin to access the Attendance report for all teachers
This would allow students to check into the office once the student is considered Tardy. The office would then have access to the teachers attendance report, mark the student, and then send that student to the appropriate class. The office is the first line of defense for the teacher and this would allow the teacher to continue teaching and allow less of an interruption.

Days of School: Countdown option to turn off
I like to see the current number of days in school. I would love to turn off the countdown number of days. As a teacher I try hard not to countdown to the end of the school year. It can be very depressing to constantly be reminded how many days are left. Please let me see the current number while turning down the countdown. Thank you!

Convert Google Calendar Events to Planbook Lessons
The current integration of Google Calendar is great, but google calendar events import as planbook events which means you cannot use them as a lesson. You cannot make notes or use any of the other features that make planbook so wonderful. It would be AMAZING if you could easily convert a google event to a planbook lesson. Ideally it would remain connected to Google after conversion but even if it didn't, it would still be very helpful. This would allow someone that is a heavy google calendar user to not only import their school related events from their google calendar…

District Admin Impersonate Feature
It would be so much easier to help teachers and campus admin if district admin could impersonate teachers.

Add a "quick edit" feature to reminders
I would like to edit my Notes in the Reminders tab without having to go into the Notes and To Do section from the pop-up menu on the left. I have 7 classes a day and I leave notes about where I finished each class during the day to know where to pick up on the next day.

Add a default line spacing option
Right now the line spacing is automatically set at 1.4. This takes up space in the box which means you have to scroll to see the whole day. Every time the lesson is typed, the line spacing needs to be changed. There should be a way to set the line spacings permanently, just like you can with the font and size of the font, so it doesn't have to be done every time.

Text Alignment Tools
It would be great to have standard text alignment tools - Center, Left Align, Right Align... Seems so obvious, I really can't believe we don't already have them!

Add a Slideshow Feature
When I make lesson plans, especially with links, it would be helpful to have a tab for a customizable slide(s) that go with that lesson. That way, my lesson plan has the teacher version (the actual plan) AND a slideshow (the student version). Many teachers use daily slides, so even an integration with Google Slide or Canva would be helpful. Maybe the links I include in the lesson plan are even automatically added/offered into the slide?

Include LaTex support for PDFs
STEM educators often use LaTex for proper formatting of mathematics equations (e.g., ( g(x)=a(x−h)^2+k ) ) or in chemistry.
This is viewable in the online format but not when exported to PDFs.
As a mathematics educator who uses LaTex to present mathematics with appropriate formatting, I would appreciate this feature. Thank you6 votes -
Print without templates
Add a check box under the print options "Templates" just like you have under viewing so that I can print my lessons with or without the templates. I use the templates mostly for details to give a sub. I don't need them printed for myself when I make a hard copy as they are the same every time.

Mobile Apps - Portrait view on tablet
I would love to be able to view my plans in portrait orientation on the iPad app, especially when looking at a single day.
