Attach files to templates
I would like to be able to link something from google drive onto a template for activities that I have made that I use on certain days. I make a lot of slideshows and activities that I would like to be able to add to certain templates that I create for different days.
63 votesA single template can now hold information for all lesson sections, and can be applied to multiple classes across multiple school years! You can also schedule a single template for multiple days of the week, attach files to a template, and add or remove a template from individual lessons.

Reorder Dropdown Lesson Bank Menu
I love the new lesson plan bank, but the dropdown to pick which bank to chose only shows up in the order it is created. I would love to be able to reorder this to my liking.
0 votesLesson Bank items are now ordered by name. We hope this helps, any questions please let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Edit class time for replica lesson
I'd like to be able to edit the class time of a replica class right from clicking on the Plans.
Currently I have to go into Classes and change the replica to View/Edit, then go back and change the meeting time, then go back to Classes and change that class back over to a replica. I still want all of the lesson/homework to be a replica, while simply changing the meeting time.

Add "lock lesson to date" to dropdown menu
When I need to lock a lesson to a date, such as for a field trip or assembly, I have to click on the lesson to open it, click the checkbox, and click save. This is quite redundant when I am copy-pasting lessons that need to be locked or have multiple classes that need to be locked in the same day. It would be much faster to click on the little dropdown arrow on each lesson and select "lock lesson to date" from that menu. Please add this option to the dropdown menu for each lesson.

Sharing assignments with other teachers
I would like the ability to share the assignments that go along with the shared lessons and standards.
5 votesHello, If you click Go To → Sharing Options, you may click “Collaborate – Individual Teachers” to enter a colleague’s email and select all classes they may copy from. When opening the Copy page, that colleague will see the option to select “Assignments” as the item they wish to copy. Please let us know if you have any questions, thanks!

Link Assessments to Lessons, Not Dates
I have added in my lessons and assessments, but when I had to "bump" the lessons, the assessments did NOT move... So now I have to go in and manually edit the dates for all 15 of them!! Ugh! It would be most helpful if an assessment could be tied to a specific lesson. The "lesson" that day just happens to be a test or quiz. This way, if you bump lessons, EVERYTHING shifts.
If the lessons have a unique lesson identifier, then the assessment could be attached to that lesson.
24 votesGood news! You can now attach assignments and assessments directly to your lessons. Simply use the “Add Assignment” or “Add Assessment” options on the Lesson Action drop down. When you shift your lessons, your assessments/assignments will shift as well. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

Color change as date passes
I wish that a day that has passed would be paler colors or grey version so that when I glance at my plans I can easily see what I need for today in the bright regular colors. The past days could still show but not look exactly the same as current and future days.
26 votesTo make it easier for you to distinguish between prior and future days in your plans, you can now reduce the brightness of prior days!
To change the display of prior days in your plans, click "User Settings" > "Display Settings" > "General", and select "Reduce Brightness of Past Days".

Allow comments from individual administrators
Hello we are looking at the comments section and one part that would be helpful if you could add in is under the "Name" section we can only see who the message is written to but not who it is from. The reason we are having this problem is because we are two administrators and we would like to see who wrote the comment

Option to not split lesson when printing
The current print options seem to split some classes in the middle so half of the lesson is on one page and half on another, it would be great to have the option to keep each class on the same page (or move it to the next one if it doesn't) The layout also seems to use up a lot of paper, so an option to reduce plans to fit on one page, or two would be great!
5 votesTo avoid breaking a lesson between two pages, select the “Avoid page break within lesson” check box on the Print Options page. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know!

Print layout for units
The current layout for unit plans waste a lot of paper. For my larger units, the standards eat up a lot of paper and the left side of the page is empty.
I'd like to see each section take the full width of the page, with the option of printing only standard id's.

Cubby
for the last three years,my team has used Planbookedu.com. This next year our school purchased Planbook.com, so I am transferring my plans over. One thing that we agree that we desperately miss from our previous planning site, is that they had a feature called Cubby. This is an AMAZING feature. It acted as a holding spot and allowed you to drag things over and keep util you needed it. Something to research.
3 votesPlanbook.com now offers a “Lesson Bank” feature! Lesson banks allow you to store away lessons and units, and then add them to your schedule when appropriate. To learn more: https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1193191-lesson-bank

Give scroll bar more contrast
Give the scroll bar on the right more contrast. It's difficult to find at times, especially against the various colored tabs/headings.
9 votesAs part of our new user interface for v12 of Planbook, we now offer a much darker scroll bar. We hope that helps! Any questions please let us know at support@planbook.com

Add warning to Copy/Bump/Extend if lessons removed
I found last year that since I had my year entered already if I entered new material say in January my lessons at year's end would roll off and disappear. With no warning. So when I wanted to keep those lessons I had to re enter them all. Very frustrating. I would like it to just bump further even if it goes past my official year end date. The calendar sits there anyway. But when I enter my lessons in begin get of year I actually do move things around. In math I covered the last unit but added other…
