You will need to create your new class in the new year, but you can then use the import utility to import any or all lessons from the prior year class to the new year class. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@planbook.com

    Thanks!

  9. Allow more items in lessons

In addition to lesson and standards, I would need several other items in my lesson plan in order for me to use this. My administration requires the following in my lesson plan:
    1. Standard(s)
    2. Essential Question
    3. Daily Objective
    4. Bellwork
    5. Learning activities
    6. Assessment/Evaluation method
    7. Homework

That said, I really, really like this website and would be 100% interested in using it if I could have access to all of the items that I needed. Thanks for creating this....its an amazingly wonderful tool!

  10. Lock lesson to a date

I would be nice to be able to anchor single lessons, whole days, or even whole weeks so that when lessons are bumped or deleted, the anchored items don't move. For example, I programmed "Benchmark Week" on April 8th. Obviously it needs to stay there, but when I bump, it bumps also. The benchmark people won't go along with it; I promise.

You can now “lock” a lesson to a date, by selecting the “Lock lesson to date” option in the lesson editor.

  13. Track standards taught

On your competitor's planbook, they track the standards that have already been taught. Will your product have this capability? Overall I prefer yours, and our school is currently voting on the product we will purchase. Love that students can check their assignments. That is a huge plus for me!

  15. Add a tick button to the toolbar

As one works through a plan, it's good to be able to tick off tasks. The keyboard has got a cross and a question mark of course, but to get a tick you need to copy it in from elsewhere (unless smarter people can put me right and there is an easier way).

The teacher key allows other teachers to import your lessons into their plans. They use your email address and teacher key, and can then choose a class and date range for lessons to import from you to their plans. If you have any questions or problems, please contact us at support@planbook.com

    Thanks,
