Connect Events to specific classes
I would like to be able to control which classes see events. I have multiple grade levels, and I often want an event to only show for one course (with multiple sections) or one grade level (with multiple courses).

Calculate grade per unit
I teach 6 group on a two days rotation. For each of those group, I have to provide a grade in 4 subjects (religion, drama, visual arts and music). My plan is to tech two subjects per class.
1. I would like to be able to select different subject unit in the leçon plan
2. For the gradebook, to be able calculate a grade for each unit. All the grades to be in the same table but be able to filter the information needed for the grade.

Add drawing facility to iPad
I teach physics and adding the facility to allow teachers to draw sketches in their lesson would be fantastic.

Special Education Groups
Allow for one reading heading and then have multiple groups under that heading. My groups are always changing and I like to have what students do on my plans. Also, it would be nice for you to add a special education progress monitoring portion. For example, I could click progress monitor under my "lesson bank" and pull up all of my data for each kid.

Add an equation editor
As a math teacher, there are lots of times I need to be able to insert an equation that requires mathematical symbols beyond superscript and subscript. Right now I have to create the equation in another program, save it as a picture, then upload the picture. A full functioning equation editor would streamline the process and save me time each week.

Allow "nested" lessons
For example, during ELA, I have a whole group lesson, 4 different guided reading groups, spelling, etc.
I don't want to use sections to break this up, as I want to be able to use all the tabs for my planning, but I would like to see a way to show all of them together, as a concept, rather than individually.

Templates by quarter hour to pre-plan schedules
Please provide a "moveable" template which is divided up by the quarter hour from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. The "moveable" part would be the option of moving cells of information from one block of time to another. I am constantly scouring the internet for a free template to pre-plan my schedule for lesson planning. It would be very helpful to provide this here, on Planbook in one easy location.

Allow class schedule past one year mark
I would like to schedule a certain class to go longer than 1 year. For example. In math, I have students that are behind grade level and I am working with them to get caught up. In order for this to happen, we need to have a summer session where we pick up where we left off. I'd like to just continue our timeline without having to separate it into a separate "year".

Integrate with Zipgrade or Quizziz
The ability to import grades from applications like Zipgrade would be a huge timesaver. Making the leap to Google Forms based quizzes when you already have a million quizzes and tests in 'paper' based formats is a giant time suck.

Set number of lessons for the year
Please allow us to set how many lessons to complete for the year. This would be very helpful for those of us using templates. I would like to be able to set a template, say I want to use that template 90 times, and see just those (vs seeing the template copied for the entire calendar year).

Combo class for split grade levels
When teaching a split grade level it would be nice to have the day broken into two columns. This way I can see what both groups are doing at that time. For example, at 9:00am my 4th graders are having whole group reading and my 5th graders are completing independent stations. I would be able to write both grade level plans and see them for the same time frame with two columns.

Hide days when class doesn't meet
I teach on a block. I want to see my week plan for a particular class, but I don't need to see empty space on my screen for the days when my class doesn't meet. It would be handy if the week view could show only days when class meets.

Integrate with Jupiter Ed
Like your integration with Google Classroom, pull assessments and assignments from JupiterEd and add them to Planbook so they appear on their due date in the plan.
If the other direction is possible, allow assessments and assignments created in Planbook to be sent to JupiterEd.
Either direction would be fine.

Mark off standards taught in lesson
I know you already have standards reporting, which is great, but when I add a standard to a lesson plan, I want to know if I have already taught it or not in the drop down menu. Thank you.

Allow the useage of more than one standards framework at once
Open up the framework possibilities. It's too restrictive right now... I can only use one framework at once, and only search by one single grade. I use many grade levels and many frameworks.

Standards search across all grades per discipline
Instead of being forced to select a single grade for standards, either eliminate this or allow a search section for "all grades"

Add a View Toggle in the Lesson Bank
The Lesson bank feature is oriented vertically. Yet, old school teachers were trained to plan lessons and subjects horizontally in old school plan books. Is it possible to incorporate a view feature in the lesson bank feature so teachers could toggle, similar to the calendar view, to a week (5days) or Month (a 6x5 section) to be able to view the lesson banks differently. I know that I am spatially challenged but I would think this would help many, and you have part of the functionality already developed. Something to consider. Thank you! I really appreciate planbook and all the…
