Dates for My List
I work for a Catholic private school and we do not follow the state standards- we follow our own diocesan standards. I have already manually typed in all of my science and art standards (still need to type in my health standards)- it would be great if as I attached them to lessons the program kept a list of dates and number of times that I have taught each standard. Our diocese requires that we date every standard for when we teach it on paper- it would save me a ton of headache (going through each and every week to…

Every other day
Our school runs on an A/B day schedule, so I have students every other day -- meaning, on Mon. Wed. Fri. one week, and Tues-Thurs the next. I'd love an "every other day" option in scheduling.
1 voteTo create an A/B schedule, click Go To → School Year, and set your “Classes are scheduled:” to a cycle of 2 days. You can also name the days as needed. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

collapse the lesson text to show only heading.
It would great if I could collapse the lesson text boxes to show only the heading. I don't need to see everything, every day, all day long. For example I have opening day procedures template for every day. The procedures don't change. I know what to do but a sub wouldn't. If I could collapse text boxes it would make viewing much easier and I wouldn't have to scroll down to see the afternoon lessons.

move attachments to different lesson
The timing of my lessons is slightly different this year, and rather than bumping all the lessons around, I am just editing as I go. But, I have attachments for some lessons that I am doing in a few weeks, and it would be great if I could just attach them, OR, place them in a "holding" area so that I can attach them when I get to that lesson. If a "holding" area, I would remember to use them. Just a thought...

store email and key?
Is there any way that you can store the email addresses and key? My team has five teachers and we each take a piece of the lesson for the week. When we import the lesson we have to retype the email addressed and key each time.
1 voteWhen importing, teacher emails and keys can now be saved. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Add a drop down menu for teacher emails to import
Adding a drop down menu for teacher emails when importing lessons would be a time saver and allow for fewer mistakes.

provide a way to have a more streamlined lesson display
It would be great if there was an option to view lesson plans and only see the titles and then click from there for the more detailed plans/notes etc. An overview/quick look at the week is what I'm thinking.

standards frequency
It would be nice to see the standard frequency use PER CLASS instead of totals for all classes.

Create a Report
Create line item (a box that you check that identifies a new unit) that allows you to identify when you start a new unit. Then additionally, a report that prints out the Units in order so that you can provide a curriculum map to team mates/administration.
1 voteTo provide better support for lesson organization and long range planning, we have added support for Class Units. An unlimited number of units can be created for each class, and you can then assign standards, assignments, assessments, and lessons to the unit. Units can be as short or long as needed, and can break down a class into weeks, chapters, themes, etc.

Allowing a week long/Unit plan rather than daily plan
With Common Core we are told we can not submit daily plans and they need to be unit plans or weekly plans. I was told I couldn't use Plan Book because it is written daily. I really like this program and would like to use it but I need an option to set up my year by either daily plans or weekly plans.

save settings
I prefer to have just the standard ID listed. However, after logging out, when I log back in the standard description always comes back on to my plans. I also have alternating weeks for library/guidance. I click off the one that I don't have that week, but both return to my plans once I log in again. I wish that my planbook would save what I had clicked on/off each time.

Color coding have a color name or number code when you place the cursor over he number.
The reason I ask that this be available is that when setting the lesson plan up the first time, I have 1st grade classes on many days of the week. I also have all other grades from kindergarten thru 5th grade on all different days. I like to color code all of each grade with the same color so I can see instantly where all of one grade falls in my lesson plan. When I did this for the first time, I found you have a lot of colors that are very similar in color. When I picked a color,…

Standards as a default so you don't have to scroll through them all the time
In the Account feature, allow the teacher to select the country/state used as a default.
