Reversing "no class"
If I indicate "no class" for a class, but then want to reinstate it, how do I do that?
1 voteHi Judi,
If you click Go To → Classes, select the class, and click Edit, you can remove the day from the “No Class Days” list in the upper right corner to reinstate the day. Please feel free to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.

Print multiple individual classes on same day
I teach elementary music and need to print out each class for my plan book. It doesn't work for me to print out an entire day because the classes run together on the printed pages. I would like to be able to print multiple classes but have each class print on its own page.

clickable links
I like using websites in my class. If I add a link on planbook, it should be clickable. This would be so helpful. I know planbookedu.com does this.
1 voteYou can hold CTRL+Click to launch a link from your weekly plans view. Give this a try, and please email support@planbook.com if that does not work for you.
Thanks!

Stop multiple logins
Sessions need to time out without use. It seems to be that if you have two PCs with the page open then the user can accidentally overwrite work. Is there a way of stopping you being logged in in two places at a time?
1 voteSessions automatically time out after 4 hours of none use. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

display to show A-E schedule rather than MOnday to Friday
I teach on an A to E schedule, and I have to keep flipping between weeks to see the entire schedule since A doesn't always align with Monday. I teach some classes multiple times and it is so hard to keep straight having to flip between screens. Unfortunately I will not be subscribing to this website because of it... it makes planning too confusing.

provide tutorial.
I have no idea what to do now that I have added a class. I have a blank week of math and don't know what to do with it.
1 voteHello,
You can find our tutorials on the main page of Planbook.com under “Tutorials”. You can also email us any question you may have to Support@Planbook.com.

Lock the hyperlink popup box.
I am not sure how it can be done, but whenever I want to insert a link, the popup box is very small and I need to stretch it out so I can write in it. I know it seems like a trivial thing, but when you are rushing around, it becomes one of those things that can drive you "buggy".
Thanks,

duplicate assignment
Duplicate the same assignment for every monday. For example if I have reading group that will always do the same thing it would be nice to just duplicate every week for the same day.
1 voteHi Kristy,
If you click Go To → Templates, you can add a template to duplicate the same assignment every Monday. Take a look, and let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

UK version
Discovered Planbook and think it is a really useful tool to plan lessons. Have you any plans to release a UK version.
It would be great to have UK dates and UK standards.
1 voteIf you click Go To → Display, you can change your date format as needed. If you would send us a link to the current UK standards to support@planbook.com, we can work to get them added. Thanks!

School Closing
I wish there was a way to block off days we didn't have school, such as Thanksgiving or a PD day. This way, when I "bump" a lesson, it automatically skips the days we aren't in session. I know each school has a different calendar, but maybe if I could enter my school calendar in before I start planning my lessons, I could earmark certain days that school is not in session.

Add AERO standards to choice options
Hello, I teach at an international school and we use CCLS for Reading and Writing however, not for Science or Social Studies. PLEASE add the AERO standards so I can track those I've taught as well.
Thanks!
1 voteHi Beth,
If you are able to send us a link, or provide these standards as a spreadsheet, I can forward that to our development team to be added to our system. Based on our current volume of requests, this may take several weeks. A spreadsheet list is a lot easier to input on our end, and we make those requests a higher priority.
In the mean time, you may be able to take advantage of our My List feature located under the Go To menu. Here you can items to be applied to lessons just as standards. You may need to activate your My List tab in Display under the Go To menu.
If you have any questions, please email us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you,
Chris

Alllow the formatting to stick
Why can't I make something blue and bold, then copy it and have it maintain it's formatting from box to box?
1 voteHi there,
If you are using the copy feature by right clicking a lesson from the weekly view, it should bring over all formatting when you paste using the same method. Please try this out, and email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Allow classes or events to repeat every other week.
I have meetings that occur every other week and I don't want to input them weekly. I'd like the option to choose calendar days
1 voteHi there,
When you add an event, from the More menu, you have the option to repeat weekly or biweekly. Please take a look, and email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Make Time blocks proportional
I would like to be able to look at my week and see what is happening ath the SAME time across the week.
1 voteHi there,
If you select Display from your Go To menu, you have the ability to select equal size lesson boxes. Try this out, and please email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

sometimes you have things that you do weekly and need to skip it from tuesday to tuesday. they you don't have to retype it each week.
1 voteTo show a repeating activity in your lessons, we recommend the template feature. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

Let us copy and paste standards from one day to the next
Let us copy and paste standards from one day to the next
1 voteHi there,
An option you can use, would be to create a template for a set of standards, which can be applied to as many dates as you like. This is done in Templates under the Go To menu. Please take a look, and write us at support@planbook.com if this is an option for you, or if you have other questions.
Thank you!

Have a pull-down on each date to allow event insertion
Events are awkward to create -- you must go to an entirely separate list, away from the Plans that you are usually viewing. Make it easy to insert an event while viewing Plans. One way could be a pull-down on the date.
1 voteHi Michael,
If you click More → Add Event, you can add an event directly to your plans without going to the Event view. Feel free to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.
Thanks!
