Enable a printing feature for the Standards
I would like to be able to print the standards from the "Add Standards" function.

Have colors transfer when copying and pasting
I teach multiple sections of the same grade with similar lessons. I like to color code certain aspects of my lesson plans (ex. book title and author). It would be great if when I copy and paste the information the color would transfer and I wouldn't have to change the color every time the lesson is pasted.

Add a month view for students
It would be great if students could view an entire month at once (or at least more than one week at a time). Most of my classes have projects, units, or assignments that extend longer than a week and the ability to see the entire unit at a glance is helpful to those who need the "big picture". It also helps reinforce due dates for future assignments.

Homework on website
I would like to allow students to view the website, but only to see certain things, such as test dates and homework, or attachments that I want them to access.

Have more options for choosing the days of your classes
Our school operates on a 6-Day class cycle - so the class I have on Monday one week will be on Wednesday to next week. It would be great to have the freedom to create the structure of your schedule. Anyway to enter a 6-day cycle of classes would be help me.

Move lesson to another day without bumping other lessons
We do weekly packets on Fridays,so a lesson we work on on Thursday won't be continued until the following Monday. If I need to extend or bump a day, my Friday lesson is moved to Monday when I actually need it to stay put.

Daily Plan in "portrait" orientation?
I would like to print out my daily plan with a "portrait" orientation. Landscape is great for a weekly plan, but it's just a lot of wasted space on a daily plan. I'm trying to fit the entire day on one page vertically, like I do now with my own template.

Create iPad Refresh Button That Pulls Desktop Changes
Right now if I have planbook open on my ipad and make a change on my computer (which I tend to do because typing is faster on my computer) I then need to logout and log back in to get the new info on the iPad. It would be lovely to have a refresh button that would do that for me!

have a notification for when an administrator or anyone comments on plans.
My adminstrator made comments about my plans and I had to hear through the grape vine that there was a comment section and that he had commented. It would be nice to have a notification pop up somewhere to let a user know when there is a new comment in the comment section.

change the spelling of the word consonant in the kindergarten standards.
In the standards planbook.com has it spelled consonEnt, but the correct spelling is consonAnt.

Allow a class to meet only 1 day a week
For example, I would like to make notes for what we'll do in tutoring, which only meets 1 day a week. My other classes still meet every day 5 days a week.

have an option to upload attachments to the Plans page
I have a document I use while I'm lesson planning that helps me get together all the resources I need for a particular week. I'd like to upload it to the Plans page since it is relevant to that week's assignments.

Button to replicate a lesson in other periods.
As a reading specialist, I am sometimes teaching the same lesson with multiple classes. It would be very helpful if there was a button or option to replicate the same lesson & standards in multiple classes without cutting and pasting. Two of the other specialists (one reading, one math) in my building have already given up on this product because it lacks this feature.
1 voteWhen you are looking at your plans in the Week view, you can right click a lesson and you will see Lesson Actions. Copy and paste are options which allow you to copy all sections of a lesson into another. If you have any questions, please send us a message to support@planbook.com.
