Print Option
I love the fact that I can have the school day number show up at the top of my plans. However, it does not print out and there is no option to add it to what prints. I would love to have the option of having the school day number print with my plans.

Adjust text size for Lesson Name and Time
I would like to be able to adjust the text size of the lesson name and time. It's possible to adjust the text size for what you write in the lesson box but not for the lesson name and time.

There might be a way already...
Dear Planbook staff,
Some lessons that I have, I want to copy and paste from last year. For example with the subject of reading. I want to use the same skills and story. When I copy and paste jumping from this year to last year multiple times.... I keep arriving back to fhe first week of school in August of 2012. I wish there were a way for it to stay on the week I want each time I go back to last year. Like this week, I want to jump to the week of September 17, 2012, but I…

let us set the font sizes and keep them that way.
I like size 14 font. I want to make it my default size. Can I do that? If so, how? If not, I would like to.
1 voteHi Erik,
If you click Go To → Display, you can set the default font size for each of your lesson sections to 14.
Thanks!

Bump Back
I like being able to bump a day forward. But if I change my mind, I want to be able to undo it without losing a day's plans.

Standards
Can you set it up so that we can have the option to input standards on Planbook, but only view the categorical lettering, instead of the entire text?
For example, instead of displaying
"5.L.2 Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing."
Just display "5.L.2" I use these in class, and with other teachers, and it would do a lot to de-clutter the display.1 voteHi there,
If you select the menu titled “Items” near the top right of your plans view, you have the option to hide specific items including the standard description. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Link to district specific Priority/ Power Standards
Our district has worked very hard to determine K-12 priority standards taken from National and Iowa Common Core. If there was a way to color code our individual district's priority standards teachers could be certain they are creating lessons from our district priority standards. It would also be helpful for teachers to be able to run a gap analysis on the district priority standards similar to how they can run the gap analysis on their selected standards.

Schedule Set Up
I would love to be able to set up individual class rotations. For example, 4 of my classes go from MWF to a T/TH at the quarter and vise versa but the rest of my classes stay the same all year.

Link standards/homework/notes to lessons for copying and pasting
It would be great if when you add standards etc. to a lesson, you could copy the ENTIRE thing and paste it into a new class cell. It is tedious and time consuming to have to go back an re-enter this information for each class.

set font and size permanently
It would be easier to permanently set font and point size. I have 30 minute therapy sessions and having to reset font/size is time consuming.
1 voteTo set default font and size for your lesson sections, click Go To → Display. Thanks!

make the default week view have equal--size windows for all class periods
I sure like the application so far. My only complaint is that I'd like to see the size of each class period window be the same size intially. It sure would be a lot less cluttered looking when printing. It's mostly an aesthetics thing, but I get bedazzled when looking at a page where everything doesn't line up. I understand that you're probably trying to maximize use of space. Take a look at Planboard.com for an example of a really tidy/professional look. Their application is no-where near as developed as yours, but I far prefer the look.

Allow a "View Only" password
Allow a "View Only" password so that substitute teachers can view online version (with active links) without accidentally changing something.
We currently print the Planbook for substitutes.1 voteHi there,
You can use our Student View feature for this purpose. You can set this up in Sharing under the Go To menu by creating a student key. Once you have that you can return to the Sharing page for a link to your plans, or it can be accessed by selecting the Student View link from our website and entering your information. If you have questions, please email us at support@planbook.com
Thanks!
