add the "no class" feature to the drop down quick menu, not just the lesson box.
Love the "no class" feature! But it would be great if I could also do this on the drop down menu, not have to open each lesson block to click "no class."

Allow Lesson Headings/Titles to also have their own font/format
You have various formats and colours for much of the information which is excellent, and the word LESSON is in bold, so to distinguish it, I would also like to be able to select a font/colour/format for the actual lesson title.

Colors for Google+ calendar events should match the colors of Google+ (this is already the case in the browser)

photos into lesson plans
If a lesson calls for a visual, we were able last year to post a photo to give the students a visual. It was great to click on the photo and show students what the finished product could look like. When using Apple TV this is hitting it out of the ballpark.
My plans are on the desktop so I can click on them at anytime.
Either as an attachment JPEG or PDF could work also.2 votes -
I often move lessons around as I plan and it would be super helpful to be able to drag and drop in month view and I plan units.
Drag and drop in month view please! :-)

Make it so that links automatically open up in new windows.
When you post links to websites directly into your plans, when you click on them it opens it in that same window which then gets rid of your plan book. It would be more convenient if the links opened into new windows so you could still have your Planbook open. There is a way to go into settings and change this for every link, but you have to do it for every link you cut and paste into your plans. I'd prefer for new window to be the default.

Adjust the standard tab so that the standard I'm teaching appears first in my lesson plan instead of last.
I'd like the standard tab in the lesson plan section to be adjustable. I'd much prefer it come first in the lesson instead of last, since that is the starting point of my planning.

Standards aligned to class templates
I suggest that whenever a teacher edits a lesson, the standards for that particular class in the the teacher's schedule automatically pull up. That way, teachers won't have to click to get the standards for that subject every time they fill out that particular subject area lesson template.

Change look of "Student View" link
Change the look of the "Student View" link, to make it more obvious & present for kids & families. Make it look like the "Login" button, placing it right below the Login button. Maybe add the word "Teacher" in front of "Login"?
2 votesStudents can now use the same login button / screen as teachers and administrators. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know!

Entering events in calendar mode
It would be helpful if events could be entered on a full month calendar view (rather than a list view). It is cumbersome to scroll through the event list view if there are many events entered. If a monthly calendar view could be made available to quickly see at a glance where events are placed, that would be super helpful.

Display Settings
I have trouble reading the class names and times (color with white text). I found where you can change the text size of the actual lesson, it would be nice to chance the size of the class names with possibly text in black.

Auto Log Out
It would be helpful to have planbook log you out automatically after so long because I have typed a long description of lessons plans before and it was all lost and made me log back in. :) Love planbook.com though! It is an AMAZING tool!

If Planbook.com has a system-wide issue, add a scrolling banner to inform us that you are aware of the issue and are correcting it.

Add a Back to Top button
It would be handy to have a Back to Top button at the bottom of the page so when I scroll down to look at my plans, I can easily return to the start of day.
2 votesWe’ve anchored the navigation bar to the top of the view, so that you no longer need to scroll up to access the menu options. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

create a way for all planbooks to be accessed from a central school site. It takes me forever to look up each of my son's teacher's .
Instead of having to individually go to each teacher's site and then click on their link, it would be awesome if I could go to one place and access all of the teachers in that school. As a parent, it is tedious and frustrating . As a teacher, I think parents would use it more if it took less time.

Printing - Subject start on new page
When printing plans, it would be nice if the subjects didn't start with 3 lines on the bottom of one page and then continue onto the next. I would like the option to have a subjects that do not fit on one page to start on the next page.
2 votesTo avoid breaking a lesson between two pages, select the “Avoid page break within lesson” check box on the Print Options page. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know!
