Create a place for Special Ed teachers to enter an IEP goal/objective bank.
If there were a goal/objective bank like the standard's bank, we could enter the specific goals we are working on as well as the state standards.
2 votesWe recommended the My List section (Go To → My List) to add IEP Goals. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

PDF's for my lesson plans show up blank when attached, would be nice if I could hold on it and open in adobe reader.

keep a list of frequent teachers for importing
Keep a list of teachers frequently used to import. typing in the email and password every time to import a lesson gets old.

Enter the 8 math practices as items to put in for standards.
Add the 8 math practices that are listed with the common core as items to put in in the standards part of lessons.

expand on the idea of equal size boxes
equal size lesson boxes is clever, but I would prefer to line up my days in week view by time slots...so that recess is straight across the week view even though on some days I have multiple lessons before a recess and other days just one lesson (double lesson) so things don't line up horizontally.

I would like to have the ability to freeze a day's plan or weeks lesson plans
I would like to have the ability to freeze and/or unfreeze a lesson plan for the week. We sometimes have changes in our schedule that require us to make changes to our class schedule indefinitely. However, the current way of scheduling makes changes to the time all the way back from when the class was first created, which was the beginning of the school year. I don't want any changes made to the previous lessons, I want the effect to take place from the week that I am planning and the future ones that I will create. If this feature…

Marking periods/Semesters being repetitive
It would be great if we could set it up for a semester and then start another semester as a "new year". Per nine weeks would be great too! I have classes that change students every nine weeks. Others have students that change every semester.
2 votesYou can create a “new year” for any timeframe: quarters and semesters are absolutely fine!

Allow class schedule to be changed for testing or holidays
Our normal schedule is a modified block. On Monday and Friday we see all six periods and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we see only four classes. Next week is Thanksgiving and we do not meet for two days. Therefore our schedule will be only the three block days. Your program does not give me the option to change the class schedules for only this week. I have to change the entire school year. This change in our schedule happens several times a year and the only way to make this work is to make every day a six period…

Allow templates to uploaded
Our school has a template they want us to use. It has been created in a word document. It would be helpful to be able to upload that template into planbook.com.
2 votesHi there,
If you can email this to us at support@planbook.com we can apply that to any accounts that you specify. If you have other questions, please let us know.

Allow Copy and Paste in addition to Bump and Extend
Sometimes I find it necessary to move a lesson that needs to be moved to another day, but skip over a lesson I want to stay on the intended day. Or I want to switch lessons. For example on Monday I taught Tuesday's lesson instead, but then I need to go back and teach the lesson I have posted on Monday. It is lengthy to go back and open the plan for the day, and copy each section to another day. Adding a "Copy" feature would be awesome.

Open Links from normal view
Is there a way to open a web link directly form viewing plans. Right now I click on an inserted link and it opens the edit plan box. Then I have to right click the link to actually get to the site. It would be nice if we could just click the link in the view plans and go right to the page.
2 votesHi Jeremy,
To launch links directly from the plans view, you will just have to hold CTRL and then select the link. If you have any questions, please email us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

Add Missouri Guidance GLE's
I would love to setup my guidance lesson plans too but they are not listed as an option for standards.
Thanks!

Getting tech help without logging in.
I could not log on today! The program said it didn't recognize my email. Now it works. Does this happen a lot? I needed immediate help and could not get any.

day view in app
When I switch to "day" view in the app it switches back to the first day of the week. It would be good if it went automatically to the current day. I see on the left that you say you have fixed it, but I just downloaded this week the app and it is not fixed. Perhaps there has been an update that changed it back?

Change the time options
At the beginning of set up, we could be able to put in the time school starts and ends so we don't have to enter 2 'PM' or 12 'PM' each time. Because obviously we wouldn't be at school at 2 AM :)

add a link to share year long lesson plans
I need to electronically share the entire year of lesson plans with my administrator (to be saved on file). Can this be done without having to print off each week?
2 votesHi Michelle,
If you click More → Print to PDF, you can set your print date range for the full year. This will create a single PDF file for you to email to your principal. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!
