Extend/Bump sections of lesson
Instead of bumping/extending the entire lesson, it would be very beneficial to be able to just do particular sections. For example, I do not change the standards every day. My standards I am teaching for the entire week, so I would like to just bump the standards, rather than going in and redoing each individual day. The other areas I can just cut and paste, but cannot do that with the standards. Hoping this will be an easy thing for you to do. Thanks!

Add the grade level cluster WIDA Can Do descriptors to the list of standards.
The WIDA Can Do descriptors are useful to plan lessons and track student progress. Our district ELL progress reports are based on the Can Do's. Adding them to the standards would help ELL teachers ensure that we are covering the four language domains and planning lessons that are moving our students forward in their language acquisition.

Change date of week you have created
I would like to be able to simply change the week at the top of the page of plans I have already prepared. We had several snow days in a row and I had to copy and paste everything to the next week or manually change the date. It would've been easier to simply change the date on the plans already created. I have also created a week under the wrong dates accidentally after I manually changed the date on the plans for the snow days off. Hope that makes sense. Maybe you already have this option and I can't…

Tracking report for only the standards taught
I would like to be able to print a report of only the standards that I have taught for each grade since I work with all the classes within my buidling each week rather than having to print out all the standards for every grade level.
3 votesYou can now view standards taught for each individual class. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Allow teachers the ability to assign student access codes to specific classes
Instead of giving parents and students access to my entire plan book, I would like to have students just see their individual class's lesson plan and HW assignment. If I could assign a student code BY CLASS, then I could do this. Also, if there was a "school code", then students could sign into a school site and unlock individual classes with separate access codes and see all their lessons and HW assignments in one place.
3 votesIf you click Go To → Sharing → Download Links, this will give you a text file with a unique link for each class. You can then give your students only the link for their specific class. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

Add a three week schedule
It would be lovely to have the option of having a three-week option for scheduling (biweekly is already there) as some of my classes rotate on a three-week basis. Thanks!
3 votesThree week schedules can be added by setting up a cycle schedule of 15 days. You can also label the cycle days as “Week 1 – Day 1”, etc. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

add ipad download attachment
It would be nice if the iPad app could download the plan as a PDF, so that you could have access while not connected to the internet. Also, if you could download the attachment and save to an external PDF view on the iPad.
3 votesHi there,
You have the option to select “Print to PDF” from the “More” menu on your iPad app. Please let us know if this helps, or if you have any questions by emailing support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

External PDF viewer
I want to be able to download an attachment to an external PDF viewer
3 votesHi there,
We offer our “Print to PDF” option under the “More” menu. This allows your plans to be saved as a PDF file which you can attach in an email or store on a hard drive. Please let us know if this helps, or if you have any questions by emailing support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

Allow class cell size to be adjusted for certain classes but remain the same size for the rest
Allow the option for some classes to be left as a small sized cell while others are the same size. For example, gym, music, computers, etc. I would like to keep these the same size as each other, but small. All of my other classes where I have lessons for, I would like to keep the same size as one another, but larger to view the info.

Allow changes to the schedule that don't change the previous schedule.
My class schedule changes over the year, but when I have made changes to my templates, the program goes back to my old plans and changes everything back to September. I just want to change it from now to whenever I change it again.

be able to download the year's worth of lesson plans at one time
I have to submit my year's worth of lesson plans to my principal and I don't want to have to do it one week at a time.
I have also emailed your support team 2 times asking them if there is currently a way to do this and I haven't gotten a reply back.
3 votesTo download a year’s worth of lessons, click More → Print to PDF, and set the start and end dates to your school year. Please feel free to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

Sharing the School Calendar
Is there a way that teachers can select whiich school they are at to be able to share the basic school calendar days with each other so that each individual teacher would not have to enter all fo the holidays, conference days, etc? This would be immensely time saving.

Make "tabs" for different school years
Allow us to have multiple school years open at once and easily toggle, copy and paste between them. This would help for changes in curriculum that require teachers to quickly copy a lesson to the fall that they would normally give in the spring, rather than changing years, sifting through dates, etc. for each lesson in that unit.
3 votesWe’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Standards display when sharing
I would suggest you give an option to show only standards numbers when sharing lesson plans. My administrator would certainly prefer to see just the numbers and not the whole definition when viewing my plans. It makes it too long, wordy and easy to miss what the lesson is going to be.
3 votesStudents now have the option to hide Standard IDs and/or Descriptions in the student view. Hope this helps! Any questions, please let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

Link Common Core Literacy and Math to the Next Generation Standards.
When you go to the NGS website, it will list a standard. At the bottom of the page there is a list of Common Core Standards. It would be great if you could choose a NGS standard and the Common Core Standards that connect to that NGS Standard are added at the same time. This would be sort of like flow chart, dichotomous key, or ladder link. This would save so much time.

Allow for private notes on a single lesson
There are many times when I would like to make notes about a specific lesson, either before teaching (like a to-do list) or after (like a reflection). I would like these notes to carry over to the next year, but not actually be published/shared as part of the lesson. Thanks for considering! :)
3 votesYou can create a lesson section for Private Notes, and then select to not share this lesson section in your Student View. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

iOS App - Add list view on iPhone
My two main ways of viewing my lesson plans are as a week or as a list of one class. I am loving the iPhone app, but would really like to have the list functionality added!
