Year Long Planning by month
Is there an option that allows for year long planning by month? I am thinking of something like a place to just put the titles of units and numbers of days.

How can I modify one day's scheduled times for 3 different periods so all the other days remain normal scheduled times

Add the ability to copy and paste lessons
Please add the ability to copy and paste lessons. I often have a lesson one week that I need to move to the next week, but pushing the whole schedule out wouldn't work. Swapping or moving lessons would be extremely helpful

Loading issues
I have been having problems with it take a long time to load and then I lost my stuff I tried to load. Also when I open the program for the first time it makes my computer have a loud humming noise like my computer is getting ready to take off and fly away. Sunday night I loaded more info on the reading part on Tuesday and Monday when I got home from school it was still loading so I refreshed it and lost my info. for all my centers I planned on doing today.

Cambridge Standards
Would it be possible to add Cambridge Secondary 1, IGCSE and A-level standards? I know this is designed for american use but I am sure there must be many international users who use the Cambridge International syllabuses

Allow certain weekly parts of lessons to repeat
For example, I have a spelling test every Friday. Would love to just put it in and tell it to repeat instead of having to manually enter each time. (Unless I can somehow do this and I don't know...)

Allow for individual default settings.
Remember items in the display preference! I like the fact that I can hide specific items and access them when I need to, however, every time I log off I have to reset the display preference. Is there a way you can design this program so we create our own default settings?

Include checklist of Revised Bloom's Taxonomy
Include Revised Bloom's Taxonomy in the lesson planning template, just like the standards, so we are able to tell as teachers that we are teaching all levels of thinking.

CLASS SCHEDULING
My Semester courses are divided between two different years. Students take the first half of the course on year then take the second half of the class the next school year.
Therefore I have classes EVERY OTHER DAY - on and "A" day and "B" day schedule. So one week I teach the "A" classes 3 times and the next week I teach the "A" classes two days. Is there any way I can set the class days up this way.
4 votesIf you click Go To → School Year, you can set up your schedule to be a 2 day cycle (A/B schedule). Please do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.

Hide Standards from Plans View
I don't need the standards showing when I am in the plan view. . . and you can make it optional when I print as well. But I LOVE the report of standards!!

Allow for a More Flexible Week Rotation
Hi. I have just registered on your website and find it streets ahead of the others that I have been researching. However, teaching in the Middle East, where the school week runs from Sunday to Thursday, I am at odds trying to customise your plans sheet. Currently, your week rotation defaults a Monday to Friday rotation. Allowing for a rotation suited to the Middle East will certainly invite a more extensive subscription to your website. You will certainly have my subscription at the end of the one month free period, provide I can actually use it for a more extended…

Bump or click lesson/standard/homework etc. to any class
Many times as a middle school teacher, I teach the same lesson for a couple of periods a day and vary the lesson during the week for other classes. It depends how well the students are learning in order to move in the curriculum. This copy and paste is very time consuming.
It can work like my grade book...students have a homework handout on nouns...when entering assessment into grade book, I can click on each class period and it appears in grade book.4 votes -
offer a backup...?
I lost half my planning for the week. It was there when I signed in, then disappeared.

Deleting
I'm so happy to have come across this webpage. I'm feeling it out some more before telling my co-workers about it. I find it to be very easy and simple to use. On the other hand i would like to be able to delete 1 class from a group of extended classes. I'm finding it difficult to add half days because i can't remove one class from a group of extended classes. Not sure if that makes sense
4 votesHi there,
When you open a particular lesson, you can choose “No Class” at the bottom to clear the lesson from that single date. Another option is to check the “Custom Times” box up at the top if you need to edit the class time for the specific day. Please take a look, and email us at support@planbook.com with any questions.
Thanks!

Set default for user mode
I have admin rights to look at other teachers plans. Mostly I use Planbook.com to keep my plans. When I log in it always opens in "school". I would rather set it to open to "teacher" because that is what I do the majority of the time.
