  1. Enable indented bullets

I would like the standard bullet functionality that is available in word-processing programs: being able to indent bullets so that they are tiered as in a typical outline. This would allow me to type the main parts of my lessons with the components of each part underneath.

  2. Autofill/ sync for importing lessons

I plan with 4 other K teachers and would love it- if we could link or 'SYNC' as someone else put it as opposed to importing lessons weekly.
If SYNC not possible- maybe a saved classes tab under classes so every week instead of - the steps required to import classes
    import classes/ teacher email/ key / import/ insert /date- etc.

We could just adjust a pull down menu (and or autofill) and import directly without all the data entry steps weekly. Or perhaps have a saved teachers TAB with all the info their???

Just a thought- love your sight-…

You can now use the “repilca” option to automatically share class lessons between multiple teachers. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

If you click Go To → Display, you can add a lesson section for Reflection. When sharing your plans via the Student View (Go To → Sharing) you can uncheck this section so that it can not be viewed by students. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know. Thanks!

  4. Sub/Emergency plans template

Having to create sub plans when you're sick is very difficult. I have created my own emergency plan that requires very little modification. It would be great to have the ability to create a template for subs (with all details entered at an earlier time) that could be inserted into a specific day with one click (or with only a few). It is in the same vein as adding an Event, but an entire day is added.

Google+ Integration allows you to view Google Calendar events in your plans, and attach Google Drive documents to your lessons. To view Google Calendar events, click on your display name (upper right corner), select Account, connect to your Google+ account, and select the calendars you’d like to include in your plans. To attach Google Drive documents to your lessons, use the Google Drive Icon in the lesson editor.

  7. allow permanent view

allow teachers to tailor their viewing of their planbook by the classes they select to view in a spreadsheet. At the moment, the viewing will automatically reset to the default and will not stick to the selections that I have chosen. This makes viewing a frustration.

  9. Copy & Paste Lessons From one year to the next

I would like to go back to last year's plans and copy and paste the exact lesson(materials, standards, objectives etc.) to this years plans. I don't want to copy the whole year at one time though. Just a specific day.

We’ve added a new “Copy” button to allow you to copy lessons (includes drag/drop) from another teacher, another year, or even one class to another. Hope this helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

  12. Remember what google calendars I want displayed

I have noticed that whenever I go to the "My Account" section, google re-authenticates my account and it unchecks all of the google calendars I had previously selected to show in my planbook.

  14. Assigning students to teachers

In Admin view enable sorting of students not assigned or ability to start typing the students name when trying to assign them to the teacher. At the moment it's really difficult to assign students to a teacher as there's no order to them

Students can now be filtered by grade level and sorted alphabetically

  15. Names move in grade book

I would like to see the student names move as you scroll back and forth with the grades. When projects are over an extended amount of time or students turn in late work, it's frustrating having to go back and forth to align students with a grade box. Thank you.

  16. download files from my files tab

When I go to the "My Files" folder, once I locate a file, my only options are to rename of delete the file. It would be great if I could download them directly from 'My Files' because usually I can locate them there, but not always in my plans.

    Thanks so much :)

  17. Option to not split lesson when printing

The current print options seem to split some classes in the middle so half of the lesson is on one page and half on another, it would be great to have the option to keep each class on the same page (or move it to the next one if it doesn't) The layout also seems to use up a lot of paper, so an option to reduce plans to fit on one page, or two would be great!

To avoid breaking a lesson between two pages, select the “Avoid page break within lesson” check box on the Print Options page. Hope that helps, any questions please let us know!

Hello, If you click Go To → Sharing Options, you may click “Collaborate – Individual Teachers” to enter a colleague’s email and select all classes they may copy from. When opening the Copy page, that colleague will see the option to select “Assignments” as the item they wish to copy. Please let us know if you have any questions, thanks!

  19. Full-Screen To Do List

I love your to-do list - especially that it will arrange my tasks by due date - but I struggle with how small it is. Is there a way to open it to full-screen on a computer, or could there be? It shows up as full-screen on my iPhone but that is a much smaller screen. I'd like to be able to see a full page worth of tasks on my computer without scrolling.

Thank you for your excellent product! I was using a different lesson plan website that I thought I really liked. I recommended it to a colleague…

To allow our teachers more flexibility in the creation and management of Notes and To Do items, we have moved these to their own page in Planbook!

And to allow teachers to quickly view upcoming items, we have added a Reminders panel, to show events, classwork, notes and todos that are due in the next 7 days.

To view the Reminders panel, click the "Reminders" icon in the upper right corner of your Plans page.

  20. Improve iOS app

While Planbook has never been the nicest looking online lesson planner, it has offered the best feature set at the most affordable price. Recently, however, I've noticed that the iOS is almost unusable. On my iPhone X, they layout is way off, and the icons look incredibly low-res and blurry. At this point, I feel like it would almost be better to have no iOS app at all than to have it in its current form.
