Make a class private
Ability to make a class "private" and not able to be viewed.
When creating a sharing View for your plans, you can now control what classes are included in the view. The classes are unique for each View you define, so you are able to customize each as appropriate.

So has anything been done about this request? My school just started using Planbook and all our teachers are required to use it. This is something I really would like added. I look forward to your reply.

Ability to Keep Certain Classes Private.

I co-plan with other grade level teachers, but often write more detailed plans for my own class. I have created two classes for this reason, but when I share my planbook on my website for my students, they can see both classes. I would like the ability to select which classes my students can view.

I'm hoping for the same. I'm a pre-k teacher and have each piece of my day listed as a class so I can color code and easily plan for each one. I want to share with parents, but I also need to keep one section of the day when I work one-on-one with students private so I can assign my TAs students to work with during that time as well with more specific notes that I do NOT want shared. I clicked "None" on collaboration, but I see that it is still viewable and need a private spot for this info. Thanks!

Yes, please make an option for a class to be private. I work one on one with a student and would like that student and their parents to see the plans, but not the rest of my students from other classes. I feel like putting my plans in my plan book for this student would be a violation of their privacy.

I am sharing plans with another teacher because we are teaching the same math course. She imported a replica of my plans onto her page so that she can see what I am doing. However, when students go to her page for homework, they'll see both classes. I won't necessarily be going at the same pace as her. If she could hide the replica of my class, they would only see their class with her.

I have a "Planning Period" class set-up and put conference appointments and to-do's in planbook. Cannot share my planbook online, because of the notes I keep in that section. Would like to be able to select which class lessons are shared.

I want to publish my planbook but also don't want everyone to see the box I included for my planning period where I write myself reminders. Could there be a check off list as to what is publishable and what isn't?

In a previous post, someone explained that every working block in the school day is thought of as a class. I like that, but I would also like the option to have certain classes be "invisible" to students - such as specific administrative meetings or working periods.
I know that I have the option to schedule these private meetings as "events" but they don't allow for agenda items, can't be easily color coded, and don't skip dates when there is a "no school" day.
Or maybe allowing an option for recurring events to be skipped on "no school days" and allowing a color coding option for events? That could work too.
Thanks for the consideration.
