Turn the planbook.com icon at the top of the page into a "home" button that page you see when you sign on.
I always click on the planbook.com icon thinking it will be like other programs and take me to the "home" page. It should be easy and quick to get back to the plan page.

Keep the headings in place
I would like the headings at the top of the page to stay in place as I scroll down to work on plans. Sometimes I get so distracted that I forget what dates I'm working on, and I have to take time to scroll back up to remember where I am...

Don't allow print if not logged in
You can currently print even if you're not logged in. What it does is download a file with an error message. (at least this is google chrome). I think I've got my file ready to go only to open it later and realize it's an error message that I haven't logged in. Can you just do a quick check to see if the user is logged in before printing or allowing you to edit a lesson?

Locked information bar
I love this website. I would like to see the top part of the site "locked" so that when I scroll down I don't have to go back up to switch dates or add an event.

allow the ability to sort assessments
Right now this page only sorts by Title, which is awkward. The ability to sort by date or unit or class would be fantastic.

When we click on "Edit", and the next page comes up, could the default be made to go right to "Title?" I would imagine most teachers begin there. If the cursor could start there, it would save one more click away from the keyboard. Just a suggestion, I love everything else about Planbook.

UNITS
When adding assessments and assignments to Units, especially those that have a link to a document. It would be nice to be able to click on that link within the Unit view.

Swipe to Switch Days
Clicking on the arrows frequently opens the class plans that are underneath it. Swiping would avoid this issue.

Make a correction
I wish planbook would "remember" the subject/category I was last in, rather than default to random standards. Right now it defaults to dance.

Backward Planning
I would really like to be able to put the standards first in the lesson plan. This follows backward design; which is high leverage practice and is the framework we utilize for lesson planning

I would like to see the times for classes to include 15 minute increments.
Classes times would be in 15 minute increments. I have to change 11:00 to 11:15 manually.

When creating classes, add comments column specific to each day
When making classes, add a comments column specific for each day so I can note who I have common planning with which may be different each day. Now I am putting it in the class description for various days, but it would be neater to put a description specific to each day.
1 voteIf you click Go To → Templates, you can add templates for your class, specific to each day, to hold your comments for the day. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at supportp@planbook.com!

Copy/Move - default to same class
Provide when copying a lesson to a new day, when choosing the class to copy that the same class is automatically chosen to copy rather than having to choose both.

Cut and Paste
Cut and Paste feature!!!! I want to add details of a lesson from previous lessons so I don't have to retype.
1 voteTo copy/paste between lessons, you can use the Action arrow (upper right corner of lesson). You can also choose the specific lesson sections you’d like to copy. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com.

Through the messages. It would be great if messages to staff members were separated by each staff member instead of a running log.
In order to provide individual feedback to teachers.
