  1. Overview Video

Hello! We are presenting planbook.com to our colleagues at a faculty meeting in hopes to get people to sign up. I was wondering if there is a video that would give them a short preview of it's capabilities. . If not, it would be nice. We only have 5-10 min to show them how awesome it is and it is hard to show an overview in that time....

  3. update Indiana's standards to the newest system.

Very recently, Indiana has adopted its own version of the Common Core, with different wording in some areas and different numbering/coding. We'll need these as standard options for the next school year. (Indiana's College and Career Readiness Standards)

  5. View options for students

It would be great if I could select which classes my students can view. For instance I teach three different subjects, It would be great if I could have a student view page for each subject.

  9. allow us to click anywhere in the box to edit the lesson.

In the past, I could click anywhere in the box to bring up the lesson editor. Now, I have to click on the colored ribbon at the top. Sometimes, my lessons are long, and I do not want to have to scroll to the top each time I want to change it. It was much easier to click anywhere in the box.

You can double click anywhere in the box to open a lesson, no need to scroll up to the lesson title. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know. Thanks!

  10. please consider including the benchmarks for the AASL Standards for the 21 Century Learner for our library lessons.

Please include the ability to identify the benchmarks for our AASL Standards. Please also consider allowing a template for the lesson which would include Hook, Acquisition, Understanding, Transfer. Is it possible to include TIP chart targets for technology?

  11. Option to skip a day in the six day schedule

We use a six day schedule at our school, but on half days we have alternative classes - so we essentially skip a day. Your calendar allows me to set up a six day schedule which is great, but if I need to pull a day out of the schedule I cannot do that unless I start a new term. I would have to do that every two weeks to accommodate our half days. If I choose the option of "no classes this day" from the edit class menu it does not reset the six days, it just does not…

  12. Dates for My List

I work for a Catholic private school and we do not follow the state standards- we follow our own diocesan standards. I have already manually typed in all of my science and art standards (still need to type in my health standards)- it would be great if as I attached them to lessons the program kept a list of dates and number of times that I have taught each standard. Our diocese requires that we date every standard for when we teach it on paper- it would save me a ton of headache (going through each and every week to…

  13. Every other day

Our school runs on an A/B day schedule, so I have students every other day -- meaning, on Mon. Wed. Fri. one week, and Tues-Thurs the next. I'd love an "every other day" option in scheduling.

To create an A/B schedule, click Go To → School Year, and set your “Classes are scheduled:” to a cycle of 2 days. You can also name the days as needed. Please contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions. Thanks!

  16. collapse the lesson text to show only heading.

It would great if I could collapse the lesson text boxes to show only the heading. I don't need to see everything, every day, all day long. For example I have opening day procedures template for every day. The procedures don't change. I know what to do but a sub wouldn't. If I could collapse text boxes it would make viewing much easier and I wouldn't have to scroll down to see the afternoon lessons.

  17. move attachments to different lesson

The timing of my lessons is slightly different this year, and rather than bumping all the lessons around, I am just editing as I go. But, I have attachments for some lessons that I am doing in a few weeks, and it would be great if I could just attach them, OR, place them in a "holding" area so that I can attach them when I get to that lesson. If a "holding" area, I would remember to use them. Just a thought...

  18. store email and key?

Is there any way that you can store the email addresses and key? My team has five teachers and we each take a piece of the lesson for the week. When we import the lesson we have to retype the email addressed and key each time.

  20. Add a drop down menu for teacher emails to import

Adding a drop down menu for teacher emails when importing lessons would be a time saver and allow for fewer mistakes.
