Alllow the formatting to stick
Why can't I make something blue and bold, then copy it and have it maintain it's formatting from box to box?
1 voteHi there,
If you are using the copy feature by right clicking a lesson from the weekly view, it should bring over all formatting when you paste using the same method. Please try this out, and email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Allow classes or events to repeat every other week.
I have meetings that occur every other week and I don't want to input them weekly. I'd like the option to choose calendar days
1 voteHi there,
When you add an event, from the More menu, you have the option to repeat weekly or biweekly. Please take a look, and email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Make Time blocks proportional
I would like to be able to look at my week and see what is happening ath the SAME time across the week.
1 voteHi there,
If you select Display from your Go To menu, you have the ability to select equal size lesson boxes. Try this out, and please email us at support@planbook.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!

skip button just like extend and bump
sometimes you have things that you do weekly and need to skip it from tuesday to tuesday. they you don't have to retype it each week.
1 voteTo show a repeating activity in your lessons, we recommend the template feature. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know!

Let us copy and paste standards from one day to the next
Let us copy and paste standards from one day to the next
1 voteHi there,
An option you can use, would be to create a template for a set of standards, which can be applied to as many dates as you like. This is done in Templates under the Go To menu. Please take a look, and write us at support@planbook.com if this is an option for you, or if you have other questions.
Thank you!

Have a pull-down on each date to allow event insertion
Events are awkward to create -- you must go to an entirely separate list, away from the Plans that you are usually viewing. Make it easy to insert an event while viewing Plans. One way could be a pull-down on the date.
1 voteHi Michael,
If you click More → Add Event, you can add an event directly to your plans without going to the Event view. Feel free to contact us at support@planbook.com with any questions.
Thanks!

Common Core for Preschool
I would absolutely love to have common core standards available for Pre-k. It's so hard to h ave to keep going back and forth between networks to plan my lessons.

UK standards, make a default for UK users and one for US.
It's a bit of a pain scrolling to find the standards all the time, can we have a default to state, zone etc putting in, dependent on the user's location - I suppose this info could be inserted into the profile page to assist with allocation?
1 voteYou can now choose the standard sets you’d like to view in the drop down list. Hope that helps, any questions just let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

copy and paste
allow us to be able to copy and paste text into the lesson plans... its frustrating to have to type certain repeating things over and over again
1 voteHello,
As long as the lesson is opened and you are looking at the edit window, you should be able to copy and paste text without issue. If you are encountering issues, please contact us at support@planbook.com for a follow up. Thanks.

I always have to type Objective, Method, Assessment, and HW each day. I usually do it in bold.
Can this be a "copy" or better yet an ongoing "option" or "always put in my boxes" choice?
I know some teachers need to put materials as a subheading too, as you know it depends on what one's administrators want.
1 voteUnder the Go To menu, you can select Templates to create a new template. This would allow you to set up headings that can be applied to a specific class sections for whichever dates you specify. Please let us know if this helps, or if you have any other questions be emailing us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

Have an option to move a lesson to a certian date.
In the drop down menu, have an option to move for example a Reading Lesson from November 30 to December 15th. After using this for a year and copying my plans from one year to the next it would be nice to have that as an option because dates change and holiday's change the dates.

Printing Standards
I wish there was a way to print all the ELA standards taught and to print all the mathematics standards taught separately. I can print the individual ELA areas and the individual mathematics areas but I have to print ELA and Mathematics to get everything.

Add a "Move To" option
The Extend button is great but I think it'd benefit if there is a move feature. You could be able to move a lesson a whole week later. Or if you have something that repeats on every Monday, then you can move it to Monday. When you extend, the lesson would be listed over and over.
1 voteHi there,
You may be able to take advantage of our copy and paste options in this case. When you right click a lesson (from the week view), you should see a few options including Copy. You can select copy, then right click another lesson to choose Paste. This won’t remove the original class, so you would have to overwrite it or delete it. If you have any questions, please email us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

Continue to be amazing!
As I sit here on an early release day (inclement weather), I am planning my lessons for next week, but I am also logging notes for our 504 EEOC program as legal documentation, etc. The interface is so easy and just makes my life so much easier. As a former VP of Marketing turned Middle School Teacher, the only recommendation I have is for you to market your site to aspiring teachers so they will know about long before I did (4th year). I simply save my PDF file and send it to my principal each week as required, but…
1 voteThanks for the positive feedback! We agree on both the items you mention (standard selection color and iPad interface) and hope to have these resolved soon.

Allow for custom tabs on a lesson plan
Instead of being limited to Homework, Test, Quiz, etc. Allow us to customize the tabs for each class so that we can have Projects, Papers, etc for each lesson.
1 voteHi there,
If you navigate to Display under the Go To menu, you will be able to rename the first 6 sections any way you like. Sections 7 and 8 are dedicated to My List and Standards respectively. They can be renamed but they will still provide the same function. Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you!

Make website mobile ready
It would be so great to be able to update my lesson plans on the go on my smart phone without zooming in and dealing with awkward pop-ups.
1 voteGood news! We have just released our new app “Planbook Mobile” to use on iOS and Android devices. Please take a look, and let us know what you think!

SHARE
Should be like google drive where you share with the read only options
1 voteHi there,
In “Sharing” under the the Go To menu, you can set up your student view. This will allow others to view your plans read only. Once you create a student key and hit apply, you can return to the Sharing page to copy the link provided. You can also have others select the “Student Login” on our home page. They will just need to know your email and student key that you created. Please let me know if you have any questions by emailing us at support@planbook.com.
Thank you!
