Default hyperlinks to new tab
I read a post that said this was completed, but links do not open in a new tab by default. I would like this to at least be an option if not default. I like to use my plans with links to resources so I dont have to tab between documents and can open when I want them from the page. Having to navigate back to my lesson plan after using a link is tedious.

Add a full functioning equation editor.
As a math teacher, there are lots of times I need to be able to insert an equation that requires mathematical symbols beyond superscript and subscript. Right now I have to create the equation in another program, save it as a picture, then upload the picture. A full functioning equation editor would streamline the process and save me time each week.

Sort Units by Start Date
It would be nice to be able to sort Units by start date. This would allow us to see a "year at a glace" and make it easier to find units based on when they occur. Thank you!

Templates by quarter hour to pre-plan schedules
Please provide a "moveable" template which is divided up by the quarter hour from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. The "moveable" part would be the option of moving cells of information from one block of time to another. I am constantly scouring the internet for a free template to pre-plan my schedule for lesson planning. It would be very helpful to provide this here, on Planbook in one easy location.

Allow lesson plan template categories to be editable.
When choosing to make a new template, there are only 6 test options, a school list option, school strategies option and My List. It would be helpful if they could be chosen instead of locked. I may want more than 6 text options or for multiple categories to be school strategies.

Unit Lessons to Imported Plans
I would like to add this feature. I import lessons from the general education teacher's planbook into my (Special Education Teacher) planbook. My supervisor asks that I add instructional strategies to my lessons. It is easier to create a unit and add them that way rather than adding them to each lesson. Sometimes 15+ days of lessons.

allow search by class, not just topic
I teach elementary library and organize my lessons by grade level. I'd like to be able to search for a specific grade and then within that grade for a subject. For example, when I search for "poetry" I get all of my 1st and 2nd grade lessons because poetry is in one of the state standards I often use. But I really want to look for past poetry lessons I did with 3rd grade.

Back button should return to prior week
Back button in browser should return you to the week you were looking at. Right now, if you provide a link to students to the calendar, the page always returns to the week of the current date. So, if a student is looking forward or backward a few weeks and clicks on a link, when they hit the back button on the browser, they are no longer looking at the week of interest- instead they are looking at the current date. That is a real hassle.

View All option in Lesson Editor
When editing a lesson on an iPad (and maybe on a computer also), you can only see the contents of one tab at a time. Sometimes this makes it difficult to reference the contents of another tab because you're having to click back-and-forth multiple times.
It would be really nice if we had a special tab or button that lets us view ALL of the lesson contents/components and edit it at the same time. Right now you can view all of the contents in regular day, week and month view. But if you need to edit it you're back to…

Paste as "plain text" glitch
When copying and pasting text into my lesson plan in "plain text" mode, the text will only match the current formatting if there aren't any new paragraphs in the text. For example...
"1234567" will paste correctly because there is no new paragraph.
"123
4567" will not paste using the current formatting in the lesson because it has more than one line. It will paste as the default "Arial, Size 10".0 votes -
