  1. ESOL Codes

    Hi,
    I asked this before and got a reply but I can't find the email. Sorry! I wanted to have our (Florida) ESOL and Gifted lesson plan codes added to the drop down menu. The reply was yes, if I sent them the list. (VERY AWESOME!!)I have the list and want to send it in. If someone would please email me again, I will send the codes.
    I love this site! It has made my life so much easier! I tell all my teacher friends!

  3. Create a Title portion for each lesson.

    I think it would be cool to have a title category for each lesson and then an option to print a weekly outline. For example I could name by Math Lesson: Lesson 8 Counting 1-100 by 10's. I would then describe the lesson in the regular portion of planbook. The purpose of this would be to print an outline of only the lesson titles to share with fellow teachers, parents, or students to let them see what you were working on during a week or month without giving them 10 pages of lesson plans.   4. Allow lesson in separate window

    allow a specific lesson to be viewed in a separate window so that you could show it to your class. Also allow full screen option

  5. View before importing

    I think it would be helpful to view someone's lesson BEFORE you import it so you can be sure you are importing the right lessons or days

  7. make adding standards easier and take up less space.

    I teach special ed and service students 1st-3rd. This year I’m making an effort to include common core in my lessons plans and have been adding standards for each lesson/subject daily. What I wish I could do (or wish was available) was to just have a column either before Monday (when you look at the week view), or after Friday that had my class schedule listed (just as my days are set up) for me to list common core standards for the week.     We’ve added support for Units, which allow teachers to put class lessons into logical groups, and to assign standards, assignments, and assessments to the unit, removing the need to assign these to individual lessons. Hope that helps, please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!

  8. Add bump button with negative days

    Sometimes as teachers we need to move lessons back instead of ahead. Having a feature that had negatives (-1, -2 -3) days would be very helpful. It would also help when you add lessons, but dont wish to move things forward.

  10. Give us the option to block a day as "No School" if we have the day off

    It would be nice to have the option to input days off (holidays or teachers work days when students don't come) so they would just look like a blank day, rather than showing all of the classes that we're supposed to be having.

  11. Make lesson plans collapsable

    I would love to be able to collapse my lesson plan so that I can just see the Class name and the objective. That way, I can see the whole week's objectives in one screen without scrolling.

  12. When I attach a file to a lesson the link works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. If I copy that lesson the link will only work on some.

  14. allow templates to be added using cycles instead of M-F

    It seems I can only add a template using the M-F option. I would like to add a template for one day (Day 2, for example) of a cycle.

    Templates can now be set for a specific cycle day.

  15. hide standards when I print

    When I print out my lesson plans it is very cluttered with words. I would like a way to hide the standards so that when I print out my lessons all I see are what I am actually teaching. This will make it less words to sort through.

  16. Add a floating "sticky note" option

    That way I can quickly attach reminders, such as run off more copies or call a parent. These would be reminders that I don't want attached to my lesson plans.

  17. make links more easily clickable.

    I love leaving my planbook open all day and using hyperlinks I've created to link to specific resources, such as smartboard lessons. The problem I run into EVERY TIME is that the lesson plan boxes open to edit the lesson regardless of where I click. The links are thus ineffective because of the already existing command to open the lesson editor. I would love if only a certain part of the lesson plan could be clicked to open the lesson editor, so that I can easily use this function.

  19. Class assignments

    I have a lot of lessons in which an assigned homework/project is not due for several days (staggered block scheduling of vocational classes, topic complexity). How about a dedicated tab for assignments which includes a due date linked to the class calendar (i.e. the lesson plan on the due date automatically inserts a note in the assignment tab 'assignment from mmdd due')

  20. Limit days for viewing by others

    When I have others view my plans (substitutes or parents), I would rather not have them view many additional days. Is there a way to limit the days that are viewed by others online?
