School-wide Alternate Days
It would be helpful if an admin could set a school-wide schedule that would include alternate days. As it is now, I have a dual account, so I can create an alternate day under my admin heading and have it copy to my teacher heading. However, the settings I put in as an admin do not copy to everyone in the school. I will have to walk the other teachers through setting up their own alternate days so that their plans appear correctly within our rotating drop schedule with occasional alternate days.

Strategies Display Like Standards
I wish you could set it up so we could view Strategies the same way we do Standards. There would be a Strategy ID, and the Strategy Description itself. Teachers could choose if they wanted the strategy description displayed.

Color code assignments/assessments/standards in grades
It would be awesome if assignments and assessments were in different colors. When you look at your grade book you can see which is which quickly.

Mobile Apps - View single lesson
Be able to see on iPad one lesson in big font, full-screen. This would really help one refer back to one’s notes during the lesson. At present we have to choose day view and then scroll.

Score codes
Add the ability to attach an icon when a student is Absent or Does not Pass in Assignment. A little A in upper right hand corner of assignment with a color, and for an assignment not turned in either a M for missing or NE for No Evidence if a proficiency based school like we are. Also the ability to just mark an assignment collect with a green check mark. Score codes this would be a great addition to planbook!

Tab and Arrow Keys to navigate grades
When entering grades the enter button moves the cell down. I would like to be able to move to a new cell using the tab and arrow buttons like a spreadsheet. Especially if I make a mistake and want to move back up or move over to enter the standard after I enter the grade.

Show thumbnail of image files
Currently only file names show in the list of existing attachment uploads. Often times these files will be reused in another lesson but because you can't see what the image is of the file you end up re-uploading it.l

Student View - Allow equal sized lessons
Student view can be very confusing with the different colors and teacher techniques. If they lined up instead of staggered, it could be very helpful to student eyes.

Unique letter grade options for each class
We are trying Planbook's grade storage for the first time this school year. We are pleased with the offered features and awesome price. But there are a few things that we are missing from other programs we've used. One thing we've had in other programs is the ability to have different grading scales for different classes. At our school we use the "traditional" A,B,C letter grades for most conventional subjects, like Math. But for things like Art or P.E. we use a somewhat more qualitative system with E for Exceptional, S for Satisfactory, N for Needs improvement. Then on the…

Gradebook: highlight current row/column
Gradebook: It would be nice if the whole row would highlight when you're inputting grades so you can be certain you're entering on the correct line.

Integrate with Dropbox
It would be handy to be able to upload files from dropbox in the web app, similar to how we can add files from google drive. It turns out to be easier at my school to use dropbox for syncing folders than the google drivesync.
thanks!

Print Sub Notes with Plans
It would be nice to be able to print Substitute Notes along with a day's plans just as we can with regular notes. This way it can all be in one file rather than two.

Change color of individual notes
We use our notes to document strategies and communicate with our principal. I organize my classrooms by color for the different sections. I would love to be able to change the color of individual notes so that they match my organization system.

Two parent emails and phone numbers
It is a rare household that only has one email or one phone number anymore. I need to be able to record at least two parent contacts for each: email and phone number. Moreover, if they could be customized and I could add the parent name(s), that would be even better.

Integrate with Canvas
If possible, integrate Planbook with the Canvas learning management system by Instructure. Canvas has a calendar which will indicate what activities/assignments/quizzes are due on any particular day, but by no means does it offer the features, details, and flexibility of Planbook (for example, the ability to extend, bump, or pull back lessons). Planbook and Canvas are both excellent tools for educators, and it would be wonderful if such a merger could happen.

Allow assessments to repeat
I give weekly quizzes in some of my classes and would like to be able to schedule them en masse instead of individually each week. For example, the ability to schedule a quiz every Thursday for a given date range would be extremely helpful. It would also be great if you added a biweekly option.
