Connect unit and lesson standards
I would like a way for each of the standards I add to an individual lesson plan to automatically be listed in the standards area of my unit plan as well; or vice versa.
Planbook.com now offers the ability to include unit standards in your lessons! In the Unit editor, select “Apply to unit lessons” to include the standards in your lessons. Any questions, let us know at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

I do not see the option to "apply to unit lessons" - what am I missing?

Did this option disappear? I found it in the PlanBook app on my iPad, but it doesn't work. I can't find it in the web browser version of PlanBook.

Where is this feature? I cannot find it.

Yes, it would be so easy if the standards containing within the unit lessons would automatically be added to the unit standards. My units in music are more fluid than say a science unit.

I love that you can attach the standards to a unit. However I find it really frustrating that the standards I have attached to the unit are not accessible to me at the unit level, so I have to keep a separate list to refer to to make sure that I am pulling the right standards into my lesson.

Once we have set up a unit and input the standards for that unit, we should be able to choose which standards we are addressing from THAT unit in each lesson plan, instead of having to search for the standards from scratch every time we write a lesson plan.

I would like to choose the standards at the beginning of the unit and have them translate to all of the days of the unit with out me having to manually put them in. I would also like to be able to print these lesson plans out in a word document like an old time lesson plan. gi

I would like to simplify adding standards. I would like to be able to add all the standards for a particular class into one box at the front of the week. This would help so that I don't have to go in a do the same standard multiple times during the week.

I need the standards to show up in my lesson plan for the Unit I select. What is the point of putting them in the Unit when I have to put them in again for each lesson. That would be a great time saver.

Link standards w/in Units to attached lessons.

It would be great if you could also assign curriculum standards when creating a 'class'. Some lessons I.e. Handwriting have the exact same standard each lesson. It would save having to add it each time. Same with if you were teaching a unit of work and only focusing on a few curriculum standards. You could lock in the standards between specific dates. It would save individually adding them each time!

I would like to be bale to link my units to the standards the same way I can link them to a lesson or an assignment as that is a requirement of my district.

Instead of having to add each standard each day...it would be easier if I am teaching a specific Standard that I can set a time frame and it would automatically add it to my standards tab. For instance...Shapes K.11 is taught 9/8-9/18. It's easier to do this function once instead of entering the same standard 9 times.

After taking the time to enter information into the "Unit" section, it would be nice to be able to transfer (copy) standards from there directly into the lessons without having to reenter all of them. There are times when "unit" plans and "lesson" plans are exactly the same. Or you could pick and choose from the unit standards and copy them into a specific lesson.

I have a suggestion for a feature for using "Units". There should be a way to choose to include all the standards in your unit lesson plans. I know that standards for each lessons in a unit will often be different than all the standards for the entire unit, but there are times that the lessons and the unit standards are the same. It would be a time-saver to be able to include them in each lesson without having to reenter them into each lesson.

It should automatically insert the information into the lesson, especially standards. At first I was pleased to see it, but I'm not finding it particularly useful.

I love your site so far, but when I print to PDF my Monday box is 5 pages long because I list the weekly standards only on Monday. It isn't necessary to add them every single day. I would like the option to have a box at the top or bottom where every standard can be placed, so the Monday box isn't so ridiculously long, and ink isn't wasted by placing them on every single day.

I would love to see an optional column on the left for weekly objectives. We could choose which subjects we want to have objectives and then create the objectives for the week rather than list them in each lesson.
