Allow units to be copied
Just like I can copy lessons to my repeat classes (I teach middle school), I'd love to copy units to repeat classes. I can change the class in the first drop down and save, but this seems to move the unit rather than copy it.
Copy Units is now available! To copy units, simply click the “Copy” button from the Week View, and select Units. Any questions, just let us know!

This is exactly what I was trying to do tonight. I teach middle school and would like to set up a unit for one class and then export it to my other classes. Thanks.

I agree. As a science cluster teacher it would be very useful to be able to copy an entire unit that I teach to multiple classes. Being able to make a copy of the unit would be even more helpful so that it could be altered for each class based on differentiation and accelerated classes.

I agree. As a Specials/Enrichment teacher I teach the same unit to multiple classes. The ability to copy the unit, rather than completely recreate it, would be EXTREMELY helpful. I have also tried to resave it under the other class, but as others have found, that only moves it. Thanks!!

I agree. That would be very helpful!

I would like to copy a Unit and its standards to multiple classes of a grade level. For example, I teach 4 classes of Kindergarten Music and would like to copy the Unit and its standards to all classes. For now, I have to re-type all the information.
Thank you.

I agree. This is a needed feature!

I agree. It would be extremely helpful as an elementary librarian as well. With 23 separate classes I tend to do units by grade level.

Please add this feature! I'm a high school teacher and the ability to copy units to multiple classes is extremely necessary! Any info on when this could be added? Thanks :)

I agree, units should be allowed to be copied to other classes, this would help a lot

Agreed! For now, you need to copy the set of lessons through the import lessons feature under the CLASSES tab, which could be simplified with the ability to copy & paste unit plans!

Love the Unit addition, but would echo the need to be able to assign any unit to any class!

Was super excited about the new unit feature, until I went to create units for all 4 of my algebra 2 classes. I really don't want to have to create every unit for each class. Would love to be able to copy it (so that they could each still be edited, but without having to re-enter all the info). Loving a lot of the updates!! :)

I agree with previous posters that being able to copy units (and their associated assignments and assessments) is almost mandatory.

I pretty much ditto the other comments. I too teach tech and need the units to be able to copy from one class to another.
So there is no way to do this now? Will there ever be a way to copy and paste units to other classes? -

I agree. I teach technology and am trying to figure out if this is the program for me but got snagged by the units. For now I guess it is creating the same unit five times for each grade, or roughly 30 times. I thought about doing it as a grade level but we rotate on Fridays so sometimes I may see a class once a week, sometimes twice so I need to keep it by class to make sure they are not doing the same lesson twice.

Agreed. The units are great, but as a music teacher, I need to be able to write units for multiple classes. At this point it's either one or all.

I teach elementary Technology and agree that since I teach the same units to multiple same grade level classes (i.e., 5 third-grade classes), the ability to access units from each of these classes would be helpful. I am currently creating one unit for one of the classes within a grade level and copying and pasting the individual lessons to the rest of the classes within that grade level referencing the main unit.

Without this feature, I'd rather just go back to Google Docs/Calendar. Julia Fuhrman is right in that for a high school teacher, this feature would not only make it appealing, but necessary.
