Ability to set up modified block schedule (ex: Mon, Tues, Fri - 8 period days; Weds/Thurs block days - odds/evens or 1-4/5-8)

Agreed. A "special schedule" button to save a custom days schedule or two that is reused a few times a year that we can drag and overwrite one day's schedule would be awesome.

I have minimum days every Friday for PLC, and additional minimum days for conference week(s). Unless I am missing it, where can I edited my Fridays to reflect those minimum days?

Allow alternate days to be plugged in for early dismissal days, or special events.

Yes, a half day/early dismissal option would be great!

For example, last Friday, I created an event for our field trip. Our field trip wasn’t all day, though, so I had to go into the individual classes (Math, Reading Intervention, etc.) and click “no class day” to delete them from the day’s schedule. There were still some parts of the day after we’d gotten back from the field trip that I needed to have lesson plans for, so I didn’t want to get rid of them or count it as a No School day just because we were on a field trip. My suggestion is to have an option to cancel just the classes happening during the time frame of the event.

Sometimes during state testing days we will duplicate a day in our alternating day schedule. So we will see an odd day blocks 1 and 2 the first day of state testing then odd day blocks 3 and 4 the next day. That way we wouldn't have to set up another term in the calendar year.

It would be really awesome and save a lot of time if we were able to select multiple classes for "no class day". When I need to remove multiple classes due to half days, assemblies, event, etc. it takes a long time to go into each class and click "no class day". Just some food for thought. :)

I run under a Day1/Day2 schedule, but the school has recently introduced a shortened, modified schedule each Wednesday to allow for an afternoon advisory period. The Day1/Day2 rotation remains the same but two periods are flip-flopped. It would be preferable not to have to go in and manually enter the alternate schedule for each Wednesday.

I teach at a Catholic school. So in addition to the regular schedule, we have a "mass day schedule" once a month and a "rosary schedule" twice a month. Plus we have the standard half-day or two-hour delay schedules. Each of these affects the TIME of the class, but not the order of classes or the number of classes I see. I would love to enter customized "special" schedules that I can select for specific calendar days.

Have alternate schedules that you can insert for a day. We always have late starts, or early outs that alter our schedule. It would be great to have them pre-made and all we have to do is insert when there is an early out or late start day.

My Mon-Thurs. schedule never changes. On Friday, we copy another day's schedule. (Thursday on week 1, Wednesday on week 2, etc.). It would be nice to be able to copy an entire day's schedule of classes (with meeting times) to Fridays.

We have early outs every other Monday this year so I have a completely different schedule with different times and subjects on those Mondays. I'm not sure how you could help me on that or if it's something other people have inquired about, but it's something that is effecting our school.

This would be a great idea. We have about 11 days that are different in times, but not classes. It would be nice to create that altered schedule and apply it with one click (or two) instead of adjusting each individual class time.

Some days we run a 2-hour delay schedule. Other days we run a "Pep Rally" Schedule....Allow for us to enter different schedules into our planbook account so that whenever a day has an altered/alternate schedule, we can just apply that alternate schedule to the day with just a few clicks, rather than going in and changing each custom time per the altered sched.

We should be able to set up a NO SCHOOL day for 1/2 days or early dismissal. That way lessons after, say 12 would be gone, but the am lessons would remain.

On our early out days, I have 3-4 different classes each month. I would like to be able to "add the class" and then choose specific dates for it to appear in my lesson plans during the school year. Right now I have to add them individually and there are SEVERAL for those 10 early out days!.
It says planned above....will be notified of this update when it happens?

Our school district has a 3-day rotation schedule for specials, but we also have an early out for PD every Wednesday. This means that our specials on Wednesday follow the rotation, but are at different times. It would be really helpful to have an option to use an alternate schedule on early-out days.

I really wish they would add altered schedules! We have special schedules for PD days, half days, and delayed start--we still have all our classes; the times just change. It would be great to be able to automatically switch the schedule of class times that day with one button--this would save so much time! Since we have PD every Friday, each week I have to click on every single Friday class and change it to a custom time. :-(
