Schedule by Periods
I am at jr high, on a block schedule, so I use the a day/b day structure for my classes. However, the time of each period is different on Monday because it is an early release day
I would like to be able to globally change the Monday class times, whether it is an A day or a B day.

Is this still on the list to be completed (hopefully soon)? Our district also has an early release one day each week on Wednesdays so no matter the cycle day the times for each period are different than on M/T/TH/F.

This is a crucial feature that needs to be added.

Seems like a large oversight for an administrator to be able unable to create a schedule that can be shared and imported by teachers. For instance, a HS or MS that runs a set bell schedule. The teacher should be able to import that bell schedule "shell" (class start/end times, days of week, etc) and then edit/enter their classes. Having 48 staff members hand enter the same information a)wastes their time, b) adds frustration on their end, and c) opens up many opportunities for them to make mistakes. Seems like an important feature missing.

I will add my wish for a way to set class period times. I have 36 classes and it takes so long to enter class times.

My school has fixed period times. Please include the ability to set Periods in the School Year settings, such that fixed times are recognised by "Period 1", "Period 2" etc. When adding new classes, allow lesson times to be entered by these text identifiers (i.e. Period 1 etc.) instead of by a time range, which is cumbersome at best. Then have a Display Settings option to get planbook to show "Period 1" etc. next to Lesson Title. This would be a huge improvement, e.g. making it much easier for teachers to quickly identify what lesson slot they are working with during the day (e.g. for equipment bookings).

My classes move frequently from first to the 6th period for example. My lessons are rescheduled a lot. It would be helpful if I had the option of selecting the period instead of having to change the whole time when I move a lesson.

I teach several sections of the same class and would like the option to notate what periods each class is taught.

We have a 8-day rotating schedule and 9 extra bell schedules for special days.
I'd love to be able to input my class schedule by class period for each day of the cycle (Section 4 meets 1st period a day, 2nd period B day, etc) and then apply a bell schedule for a specific date (on Dec. 8 we are using a #2 schedule, so 1st period meets from 00:00am-00:00am).

Allow people to put in their bell times and then periods, so we don't have to manually put in the time of each lesson.

Have a dedicated page to input the daily bell schedule and alternative bell schedules for different days. For example, a bell schedule for Regular School Days, Early Release Days, Assembly Day Bell Schedule, etc.

This shows that it was updated about a year ago, please look at it again, it really is a need for a lot of us going into this upcoming year. Thank you!
I have an A/B schedule, but our Fridays have extended homeroom, why can't you just use the same format as the time blocks for the regular days (Monday thru Friday listed with the ability to manually add in times as needed)?

Allow customization for a rotating schedule where a different class starts each day. We have a 7 day rotation with each of the 7 blocks starting a day and one block dropped each day. On C day, start block C, through block G, and then block A last.

On our early out days, I have 3-4 different classes each month. I would like to be able to "add the class" and then choose specific dates for it to appear in my lesson plans during the school year. Right now I have to add them individually and there are SEVERAL for those 10 early out days!.

Same issue! Wednesday is our early out day, and we're on an A/B rotation. Phew complicated!

My high school operates on a rotating schedule. Adding the start and end times in for each class is annoying (and makes the lesson plan view too busy). By allowing me to enter "Block 1", etc. the classes could still be listed in the right order for the day with much less typing! I know when the times are and subs are given a schedule based on blocks.

This would be extremely helpful. My school is on a 3 day rotation, A,B,C, however we have a late start on Wednesdays so being able to globally change one day would be helpful.

we have a 6 day cycle that has 6 periods in a day with an extra three TA periods... it would be nice if i could insert my bell times into a menu then when creating a class i could simply click the days that class is as well as the periods ... ie i could say ELA is Day 1 period 3 day 3 period 4 and day 4 period 6 for example instead of manually typing in the bell times for these each time i create a new class...
