Remove template from single lesson
Just as we are able to cancel school days as an event, I would like to be able to cancel classes that are arranged as templates so that I can adapt to school assemblies, mandated testing schedules, and a myriad of other assemblies and events in the life of a school that make all of my classes go topsy turvy. As it is set up now, it is VERY CONFUSING to have to type "canceled" below a scheduled block of time/ subject heading then rewrite what I do have to do within a completely different timeframe, etc. Just take a look at my week of 2/25 and week of 3/4 to get the gist of what I'm talking about.
A single template can now hold information for all lesson sections, and can be applied to multiple classes across multiple school years! You can also schedule a single template for multiple days of the week, attach files to a template, and add or remove a template from individual lessons.

I have templates set for things like notes, bell ringers, etc. that are done almost every day, but on certain days, like test days, we don't do those things. I would like to be able to "delete" or "exempt" the template items for just that one day.

I would like to be able to set up a standard template and name it something like "Comparison/Contrast Essay" or "Vocabulary Instruction" and be able to choose the standards template that fits the lesson instead of setting up a standards template based on a day of the week.
Currently, I can set a template for vocabulary instruction on Monday, but the system default drops those standards in on every Monday whether I actually do vocab that day or not. -

When I create a template there are classes that I do not need it to appear. For example, my homework questions section does not need to be there for a class in which I give a midterm. It would be great to have a way to just delete it on that day. I try to delete it on the particular day, but it returns.

When I delete a template from an individual lesson, it returns. Please make it so that if I delete it from the lesson, it doesn't reappear. Depending on the class day, I may not need the template and I would like to delete it so it doesn't clutter my plans.

I don't always need my template text and sometimes I delete it so that tab does not appear in a day's plan. It seems to work until I log in to Planbook the next time and the template (and therefore tab) is back in those plans.

Sometimes I need to bump a plan and just have the box be empty or contain a simple note, but even when I manually delete the template items within my plan for the day, they pop back up. I don't want to see them because they are unnecessary on a day that I have a meeting at that time, etc.

When using a template to provide a blanket across an extended period time, there are occasional interruptions during that duration (e.g. a day off school). You need to be able to delete a day from within the range that the template was used.

I completely agree with this! During standardized testing week, we have a completely different schedule. It would be great to be able to pop in a "special week" and customize it to fit our testing plans.
