View plans horizontally
If I were able to view and print my plans horizontally, I could place pages side by side in a binder. This would help me to see my entire day without flipping pages. Keeping my computer logged on to the website to reference my plans throughout the day isn't an option with preset energy saving options put in place by my district.
Horizontal View is now available! To switch to horizontal view, click Go To → Display Settings, and select “Horizontal” Lesson Orientation. Any questions, just let us know!

I'd like to be able to print just a certain timeframe of my day. I'd love that to fit in one page layout or a two page layout in a binder. We have all our emergency procedures on every day. While that's helpful if there is a sub, when I print I don't need all that printed. It prints so many pages. That's not necessary.

How long does this vote last?

I prefer a vertical view, but it makes sense for the 'X' and 'Y' axis to be interchangeable.

I was so disappointed to find out we must vote to get something added or changed on planbook. I too would like to have a horizontal view with the days of the week on the left side and classes on the top.

Only if they fit neatly, the one issue I have with the vertical, it takes soooooo many pages to print one day!

It would be great if plans could be horizontal for those of us that use binders to keep our lessons. It makes them easier to see what is happening for a whole day without having to flip from page to page. It is also much simpler to go across the page for lessons as everything will be lined up by class times and it will be easier to find where you are in your day. As the lessons are currently placed, the columns can vary in length greatly depending on what is in each lesson and it can make it difficult to find which lesson you should be on quickly.

Anyone know if this is possible yet?

I create formal lesson plans on this site b/c I am required to hand them in to my principal. I also have a hard copy lesson plan book that I jot things down on and use when I plan with my teaching partner. It is SO confusing going back and forth between my own plan book with a horizontal view and this site with a vertical view. UGHH!

I agree! I would love for the template to show the days of the week down the left hand side and the subjects at the top as the heading to each column. Then each day could be viewed at a glance in a row. I will probably not pay for subscribe for this site until you offer this feature.

I would like to see a planbook version that shows the days of the week going vertically and the classes going horizontally.

I currently design my own planning pages to have the week span over two pages (morning on the left and afternoon on the right) and my days go down the left hand side. Is there a way to do this within this program? If not, I likely won't pay for it. BUT if there was this option, I would be in like Flynn!

make schedule daily across the page instead of down page

People read from left to right, so it makes sense to have the option to have Monday at the top and Friday at the bottom.

It would be helpful if there was an option for the plans to go from left to right as well as top to bottom of the page

Yes, I always did them that way prior to using Planbook. It is much easier to follow. I loose track of the day moving to the next page.

YES!!! i You mean where the days are on the left instead of on top correct? This would help me out so much as well!
