Add multiples times to a class on one day
Sometimes due to scheduling, I have to split a class (e.g. math) into two sessions on one day. Unless I am incorrect, I have to create two mathematics classes so I can do this. For example, if I have math from 9:00 - 9:30, then have to stop from 9:30 - 10:00 for PE, and then return to math from 10:00 - 10:30, I have to create two different classes. Under normal circumstances, this is okay - - - except when I need to bump or extend a lesson, in which case I end up getting everything out of order. I would love to be able to establish more than one time slot per day when setting up the class. Then if that lesson is bumped or extended, it is done for both sessions at once.
You can now add extra class lessons to your schedule! This will allow you to teach a particular class more than once in a single day, or to teach a class on a day when it’s not normally scheduled. To add an extra class lesson to a day, click More → Add Extra Lesson.

I was hoping to get around it by just using the one large block of time, but now, 9 months in, I may have to go back and put in a plan for each lesson (when there are doubles, triples etc). If this is only do-able on a day by day basis, that could become a deal breaker. Setting up units of work and aligning them needs to be in an overall position.

Still crashing when I try to add a scheduled time to an already existing class. We have a repeat period and so I have to be able to add a different class to each day repeat period. I do not want to have to go and do this for every week. Very disappointed as the cost was not cheap for the product. I have not used it yet because of the glitch.

I agree. I need this feature as well.

I need this too as I am a special education teacher and with my self-contained students who can only last 15-30 minutes, but need more time for different subjects I break up the lessons…would be much easier if you could schedule the "same" class for multiple time on the same day.

Our district has very precise timeframes that we need to follow for the literacy block. Being able to label them with times/names etc would be fantastic.

I have scheduled split classes on the same day. This means I can't use this planner adequately. Is there a good workaround that doesn't create more work.

I'm a secondary school Science teacher and have also had to teach the same class twice on the same day. Even better, this would help with the issue of double lessons where you could just create 2 contiguous lessons for the same class. Then you could bump/extend just as you would with any ordinary lesson.

I have just been battling with this very problem. It is particularly acute when trying to import last years lessons into a new school year and it not recognising that they need to go into the second class of the day as well.
I may have inadvertently clicked on the inappropriate tag i as so excited that someone was sharing my pain! -

I need this feature too. I teach multiple sessions of the same class; for example, ELA period 1 and ELA period 4. I use the same lesson plan so it would be easier to just indicate multiple times instead of copying the whole plan to a 2nd session. Would reduce paper when I print too.

I agree. I need this, too.
