Integrate with Google Classroom
Google Apps for Education provides an API to allow Planbook to create a sharing option for teachers. Please do this!
As a first step in our integration with Google Classroom, you can now view Google Classroom assignments and announcements in your plans. To view Google Classroom items, go to your Account Page → Google+ Connect, and select the classrooms to include in your plans. We’ll be adding more Google Classroom features throughout the year, so please let us know if there are specific functions you’d like to see!

I am not sure if I just can't find this feature, but what I really need is to be able to easily share the day plan (with students and their families) on my google classroom each day. Right now I can do it by creating a google doc out of each day, and adding that to the stream on Google Classroom, but I would like a sort of running plan, so that families can go back in time and see what was done each day. Ideally the most recent day would be on top, and you could scroll down and see previous days and weeks.

It's great to link to google classroom, but all Planbook does is show the classroom. It doesn't have any functionality that I can find, which seems to defeat the purpose. Would love to see them play together in a more developed way.

At first I thought that some of my Google Classrooms were missing under my account settings>Google+Connect. I disconnected and re-connected my account, but to no avail. Turns out those classrooms were listed with white text and white background. Invisible! Anyone have any idea?

I agree with others who would like to see the option of Planbook features with the Google Classroom assignments. Not being able to add standards is the biggest issue for me. Also, I make notes for any accommodations or adjustments to specific students in Planbook which I cannot do in the Google Classroom assignment showing in Planbook.

I love that google classroom syncs to my planbook, but I wish it would sync the day it is assigned instead of when it is due. This always puts it on or two days behind in my planbook instead of the day it's due. Is there a way around this?

I’m with everyone who wants to create lessons in Planbook with it’s nice formatting options and have them load INTO Google Classroom. It would save a lot of time!

Are you able to see Planbook assignments/notes on Google Calendar? I have linked everything via Planbook but nothing is coming up on Google Calendar.

@Michelle Beer: There is a silhouette with the word "Account" under it when you click your email in the upper right hand of your PlanBook screen. Click the silhouette icon and your account info will pop up. Below your name, ID, etc, there is "Google + Connect". You can select which Google classes are shared with planbook. Close by clicking the check mark at the top right and you will see your Google Classroom assignments appear in Planbook.

I would also like to see an option to post a lesson plan directly to Google Classroom, not just an assignment.

I am not seeing how Planbook integrates easily with Google Classroom. As I look at my Planbook and Google Classroom, it looks like it will be doing the work twice. I am anticipating working digitally with students this fall. I don't have time to do it twice. During the spring, I simply didn't use Planbook at all.

I am not seeing the Google + Connect in the Go to section or as an option within the lesson plan itself. I see the post @RodHall was posted last year. Can someone please advise further of how to interconnect the two products. Thank you!

I would love to be able to choose my google classroom topic and total points for the assignments so when it sync with google classroom it is organized into my topics and has the total points already done. Right now all it does is sends it to GC but then I have to go in and edit it, which kind of defeats the point of this plan book for me.

Would love it if when you posted an assignment on Planbook, it would automatically upload to classroom.

I totally agree with Jennifer, "I would like to see my planbook assignments populate Google Classroom, not the other way around. This way, as I plan in planbook, what assignments I have for the day in planbook add automatically to Google Classroom." This would be so helpful, because I am doing everything twice right now.

I want to add lesson plans on planbook to google classroom, i.e., Essential Question, Objectives, and Homework. This would save me so much work, now I have to write them twice for every lesson every class

What I've discovered in this integration is that the assignments in GC only show up in planbook if they have due dates. The due date is where the assignment shows up.
This integration needs work, but it's a step in the right direction. -

I have ensured the names of my classes in planbook match google classroom and followed your directions to a t. Nothing is showing up in my planbook from classroom. Please advise.

I have followed the instructions, but nothing populates in GC. Also, not being able to add an assignment to multiple classes is a huge problem--both for GC and for Planbook
