  2. Quick assign items to lessons

    Assign standards and units quickly. 2 different method ideas below:

    1. When working with plans in the "list" format, a checkbox to the left of each lesson. Then at the top of the list, a dropdown that asks "What do you want to do? Assign Standards, or Assign Units." The teacher could click each checkbox next to each lesson and then assign all those checked with the same standards, or the same unit.

    2. The other option would be to add a spot in the CSV upload where we could add the unit for each lesson, and the standards for each lesson.

  3. Allow class schedule past one year mark

    I would like to schedule a certain class to go longer than 1 year. For example. In math, I have students that are behind grade level and I am working with them to get caught up. In order for this to happen, we need to have a summer session where we pick up where we left off. I'd like to just continue our timeline without having to separate it into a separate "year".

  4. Integrate with Zipgrade or Quizziz

    The ability to import grades from applications like Zipgrade would be a huge timesaver. Making the leap to Google Forms based quizzes when you already have a million quizzes and tests in 'paper' based formats is a giant time suck.

  5. Attach multiple files from Google Drive at once

    When adding attachments to lesson in the lesson plan or planbook, it would be a great time saver to be able to multi select attachments within Google Drive. Right now I have to select each one individually and go through the process multiple times for one lesson. This would be a huge time saver when you have several documents to add to a lesson.

  6. Allow teachers to select what classes to post a lesson to

    Linking sort of does this but it would be much easier if when I create a lesson, I can then select which classes to copy that lesson to. Then if I change a lesson, I can decide if I want to update the lesson for all the classes or only certain ones. I usually don't know ahead of time if an update will only be for one section or all sections, so I don't know if I should use copy or link.   7. Mobile Apps - Add Face ID on iOS

  9. Automatically transfer Google Classroom Grades "Categories"

    Please upgrade so that the Google Classroom Grades "Categories" will transfer automatically into Planbook Grades. Manually assigning "categories" to automatically linked Google Classroom Grades is very time consuming.

  10. Add note to lesson

    Add a "post it note" option to show on the lesson page, so I can tweak just a bit of information for this section or year.

    If I could have colors options in drop-in text box in my main lesson so I could note things like
    John, Jane, Judy to Tier 3
    or
    check in with John about visualization skill from Tues.

  12. Set number of lessons for the year

    Please allow us to set how many lessons to complete for the year. This would be very helpful for those of us using templates. I would like to be able to set a template, say I want to use that template 90 times, and see just those (vs seeing the template copied for the entire calendar year).

  13. Combo class for split grade levels

    When teaching a split grade level it would be nice to have the day broken into two columns. This way I can see what both groups are doing at that time. For example, at 9:00am my 4th graders are having whole group reading and my 5th graders are completing independent stations. I would be able to write both grade level plans and see them for the same time frame with two columns.

  15. Jump to next class in day

    It would be great if you could add a feature to go to the next class period in a single day while editing. I like the feature that lets me work on planning one class then go to the next day's same class. It would also help to have that same feature to take me to the next class I teach in a day instead of having to save, go back to the week view, then click on the next class to edit for that day.

  16. Hide days when class doesn't meet

    I teach on a block. I want to see my week plan for a particular class, but I don't need to see empty space on my screen for the days when my class doesn't meet. It would be handy if the week view could show only days when class meets.

  17. Hide Google events separately

    I used Google a lot. I love that I can sync my Google Calendar to my Planbook. Unfortunately, I discovered that when I desselect "Events" on my Planbook View button it hides ALL events, even the Planbook events. When I am planning for a sub I don't want the sub to see all my Google Events for several reasons. It would be great if Planbook could create a feature that would allow for users to separately deselect Google Events and Planbook Events.

  18. Automatically link all lessons between classes

    I appreciate the "link lessons" feature, but for those who have duplicate classes, it would be nice to set a particular class to automatically link to its duplicate by default. It would save the steps of having to click the dropdown and manually link each lesson each day.

  20. Printable Attendance List

    I have my students assigned to a class. It would be nice to create a printable attendance list for when there is a sub. I am a special education teacher so I have multiple small groups in a day and I like to know when kids are and are not coming to group for the IEP.
