Allow units to be assigned to multiple classes
When I design a unit, I can only attach it to one class. I teach elementary specials, and I apply the same unit to multiple hours and days of the week. For example, I have five different first grade classes. They won't stay on the same exact schedule of lessons throughout the year. Eventually, they'll have the same units. Instead of rewriting that unit, I would like to apply to multiple classes.
To assign a single unit to multiple classes, we recommend that you create a Unit Lesson Bank, and then LINK the new unit to your classes. You can link the new unit to as many classes as you’d like, and any changes you make to the lessons in the unit bank will automatically show in all classes with the link!
You can view our Knowledge Base (https://planbook.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1947406-copying-linking-units-in-your-account) or our Video Tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNValfrajJE) to learn more. We hope this helps, any questions do not hesitate to contact us at support@planbook.com. Thanks!

I’m just starting and didn’t realise this wasn’t an option.... I’m a specialist Japanese teacher in a Primary school, so I teach the same unit to multiple classes in a year level. If I can’t share a unit across classes and have to duplicate evything, I may as well go back to a paper system. Please make this feature a priority.

I would love this feature! I have up to four duplicates of each class, that are taught the same thing at the same time.

This would be a huge help at the middle school level as well!

Yes! This would help as my lesson plans are not grade specific but rather based on levels since I teach special eduacation!

I teach multiple sections on the block schedule. This would make my life easier. Please make this an option, I can copy and paste between my sections but not the units.

Same as everyone else -- PLEASE add this feature! I teach 30 sections of Physical Education a week and I need to be able to assign the same units, lessons, and assessments to multiple classes across grade levels. If I can't do this, I'm not sure using this software will end up saving me much time in the end if I'm creating and copying/pasting over and over again.

I could really use this option. It would save me so much time! I teach Spanish in an elementary school and I see 23 classes a week from TK - 5th. I, too, am sad that this post started so long ago. I'm hoping that this option will be considered. It would be fantastic!

I teach the same type of class all day! It would be nice not to make a scientific investigation unit 3 different times!

Yes, this would be amazing! I am a music teacher who teaches multiples of the same class... Allowing units to be assigned to multiple classes would facilitate my life exponentially!

Oh my word, I just saw that this was originally posted nearly two years ago and has been under review for over a year. Sadness!

YES YES YES YES YES. Specials teachers definitely need this and probably others. I teach numerous sections of 1st grade, for example. Thanks for considering this feature.

Yes, please! I teach an accelerated and regular version of the same course. They do the same things, but on different days. I would like to not have to have units duplicated and just be able to pull from the same units for different classes.

Sad this is still under review!

I agree! I teach 2nd grade, and I would appreciate having the option to have units be cross-curricular. My units are often integrated through science, social studies, ELA, Math, etc. throughout the day.
The option of being able to connect all of this in one unit would be very beneficial and more efficient as opposed to having to make notes to reference other classes, or to set-up separate 'units" when they are all one! -

I agree that I would really like to be able to assign units to multiple classes. As a teacher at a school that teaches an inquiry based program, we plan one unit that covers standards across multiple curriculum areas and it doesn't make sense to duplicate this over and over according to classes.

In kindergarten, I would like my units to be cross-curricular. So I'd like my "bats" unit to be a part of ELA, Math, art, and Science, for example. Do I need to set up a separate unit for each part of the day?

I teach middle school Social Studies and English, and have 2 classes of one topic and 3 classes of the other. It would also be helpful for me if I was able to apply the unit to more than one class.

I am a specials teacher and teach the same unit to many classes. This would be VERY helpful to be allowed to assign one unit to multiple classes.
