Homework and assignment due dates
Allowing a homework to be date/lesson linked - so putting it on one lesson can have a due date too, so it shows up on that lesson in the homework field with the prefix DUE:
Teachers often assign student work that is not tied to a single lesson or class period. Rather, these assignments may require students to work on them over an extended period of time, such as multiple weeks. We have added the ability for teachers to add assignments to each class, and for students to see these assignments (along with details, due dates, attachments, etc.) when viewing teacher plans online.

I'm coming back to this again. I would really love to be able to have homework due in a future lesson, nominate a date and it show up there. If it's not possible within the structure, it's not possible, but that's what I'd like. One tab - a homework tab, which can include a drop down to select a future lesson and tie it to that, so when I get to the lesson, it's there for me to look at. This is not for students, but for me. So some external source for assignments is not what I'm thinking of here.

Go to "Assignments" and in the notes area, you can type in the information. What I did was type:
Due Date: 1/24/2020
Complete as HomeworkWhen the student goes to their Planbook.com account, they can click on the assignment on the calendar and it will show the following:
Class: Online Guided Study
Unit:
Date 1/20/22 - 1/24/22 (the date I assigned - date its due)
Type: Self Study
Points: 100
Title: Week 1 Day #Due Date: 1/24/2022
Complete as homeworkNo, obviously, the way you have the assignment created will determine what is displayed after the : symbol with your notes you entered displayed at the bottom.
Hope this helps solve the issue.

How do we add due dates? I don't see that option.

I am not sure if this works or not, but I am going to give it a try. I copied Calendar date picker HTML coding that I can place into the assignment box. If I extend it to every day, I can then deleted it when I go to do the lesson plans if there is not homework assignment that day. Here are the steps:
1. Copy this code: <input type="date" data-date-inline-picker="true" />
2. Paste inside the "Assignments" box in the source code view. You can get this view by clicking on the <> which is the very last option in the formatting options.
3. Paste the code into the field and click "ok".
4. Clicking the 3 dots (drop down menu), select extend for 10 days. The other way to do it is when you create a lesson you can enter it by saving the code to your "My List" and then entering it through the "My List" option when needed. This works better as then you can add it to current lessons that you have already added to the planbook but can add it when you create lessons in your bank as well.
Let me know how it works for you>

I still don't see how to add in the due date for homework or class work...
